"To meet Jeremy..." Joseph's tone was deliberate as his eyes roamed over my confused facial expression.

"Oh," I said.

I was embarrassed that I had assumed that he wanted to come to mine for the sake of it. Without anything else being said, I started the car and drove out of the car park. The drive was silent on my part but Joseph had called someone sometime during the journey. I caught bits of his conversation and managed to make out that he wanted a meeting of some sort.

"Make sure they come," he warned, holding the phone with his shoulder as he continued to eat his salad. I noticed that he was very well-mannered and neat, only speaking when he had finished the food in his mouth. Remy on the other hand, ate with his mouth full, clapping it and all sorts. "I'll text you the address," he continued. "Ay, what's Zylar saying?"

I was forced to tune out of the conversation at that point, looking over at Isaiah through my rear view mirror as he started making sounds that told me he was beginning to get fussy. I bit my lip trying to focus on both the road and him squirming around in his car seat. I sighed when he eventually let out small cry.

"Shh." I said over Joseph's persistent talking.

I knew that he was hungry, seeing as he hadn't eaten since we had left but I had only been expecting to pick up a few things from Asda, not Joseph as well. His cries became louder and I noticed that Joseph began to speak louder, getting annoyed. I reached a hand back, rocking him a little bit. Joseph's gaze landed on me and my one hand on the steering wheel.

"I'll call you back," he said, as if he believed that I wasn't a skilful driver and I was going to crash the car.

He hung up and turned to Zay.

"What's wrong with him?"

"He's hungry." I let go of the car seat and using both hands to drive again.

"How long's it going to take to get back to yours?"

"A while." Isaiah started full on crying now. "I need you to feed him please."

Joseph began to shake his head, "Nah."

"Please," I turned to look at him pleadingly. "All you have to do is hold the bottle for him."

"No." He said firmly.

I held eye contact for as long as I could and he just watched me back. I had to look away due to my annoyance and the fact I still couldn't quite hack looking him in the eye.

Annoyed, I reached back for Zay's bottle bag and unzipped it with one hand. Luckily I reached traffic and stopped the car, turning to open the bottle for him. I twisted my body and put the bottle to his mouth and he immediately started to drink - the car now silent. Turning back in my seat, I held the bottle up for him but soon my hand started to ache. The traffic started to move and I attempted to drive forwards but the bottle slipped causing Zay to start crying again.

I felt around for the bottle with my eyes still staring straight and then I felt a large, warm hand. I turned to see Joseph taking over.

"Thank you," I mumbled quietly removing my hand from over his and placing it back onto the steering wheel.

He grunted in return.

From the rear view mirror, I saw that Zay had wrapped his hand around Joseph's fingers and was watching him as he drank. Joseph turned to him and I wondered what he was thinking as they looked at each other.

Once again the drive back was silent and Zay had fallen asleep. I noticed that Remy's car was parked on my road, along with a few others that I didn't recognise. I pulled up into my space before cutting off the engine. Joseph climbed out and I thought that he would start walking into the house but instead he walked around to my boot. My front door swung open and Remy stepped out in a black Adidas tracksuit which fit his build well.
