8 "Date night pt 2"

Anna pov

The waiter walked off and Josh just looked at me "Are you sure you wanted a salad?" He asked taking a sip of his Pepsi, I nod "And are you sure you wanted a glass of water?" He said looking at me. "You heard the waiter say they don't do Coca Cola, I ain't drinking Pepsi!" I argue giggling slightly, "I'm sorry Anna, I don't think I can be in a relationship with someone who chooses Coca Cola over Pepsi!" Josh says gazing into my eyes. I rest my head in my hand and I lean forward. "Oh well I'm sure I will find another!" I say looking at a boy at the bar. Josh smiled but then looked at I was looking at, he put his finger under my chin and turned my head to face him. "Aww my baby getting jealous?" I say teasing him, he pokes his bottom lip out "nope!" He says popping the p, he turned away, I bite my lip. The waiter comes with our food, and to be honest the food looked delicious. I start to eat my salad, maybe I little to fast and Josh starts laughing. This made remember why I brought a salad.

Flashback

Me and Liam sat down at our table, after roller skating for an hour. He tucks my hair behind my ear, I bite lip and kiss him passionately. The waiter came over and asked what we wanted. "I would like a maple syrup milkshake, with a burger and chips please!" I say and Liam stares at me, with a hint of disgust. He orders his food and the waiter walks away. "Are sure you didn't want a salad?" He asked me, "yeah, why?" I asked confused, "I mean burgers are fatty and greasy, you don't want to end up looking like one!" He says with evil behind his voice.

My stomach then felt a little uneasy, "I mean he is probably doing me a favour, so that I don't get picked on in school!" I think trying to reassure myself, "he is doing it because he loves me, right?"

The waiter places our food on the table which makes me snap out of my thoughts. I pick up the burger and start to eat, and I could see Liam frowns, I look at my half eaten burger. I place it back on the table and I push the plate over to Liam. I go up to the bar and order a water, I sit back down and Liam had finished his food. "Is it alright if order a salad?" I ask getting ready to wave over the waiter. "No! If I was you, I would stop eating," Liam says nasty tone.

End of flashback

"Anna!" Josh says, breaking me from my memory, I wiped the tear from my eye. I put my head down. "Anna what's wrong!" Josh asks worried, I look at my plate and then at my stomach. "I'm sorry!" I apologise, Josh looked slightly confused, I stand up and I walk away as fast as I could. Tears were now streaming down my face, my makeup was ruined, and I breathed heavily.

I don't know where I'm going but all I know is that I'm not stopping. Liam was right, I do need to lose wait, and I feel bad for Josh who has look at me everyday and pretend to like me. I look at the beach to my left, I turned on my heels and went and sat on the beach. I took my high heels off and rubbed the bottoms of my feet, I leant against the wall and brought my knees up to my chest.
Why do I bother?

I close my eyes and try to slow my breathing, I feel this warm body next to mine. I rub my red puffy eyes and I look up to see that Josh is sitting next to me. He wipes away the tears in my cheek with his thumb, "Anna are you ok?" Josh asks sweetly, I didn't know how to reply, so I just kept silent. "Anna please talk to me!" Josh begs, I could tell he was hurting. This made me feel worse, I go to speak but my throat was dry "I'm sorry!" I whisper with my voice breaking.

I stand up and so does he "Sorry for what?" Josh asks twiddling his thumbs, I motion my body with my hand. He just looked at me confused, "What's wrong with your body?" He questions and takes a step forward. Wasn't it obvious? I'm fat.

"I'm ugly and fat!" I say under my breath, but Josh heard it. "On what earth are you ugly and fat?" He says and tries to hug, I step back "This one!" I say and turn around. I start to walk away but he runs in front of me, and hugs me tight, "stop pretending!" I say with my head buried in his chest. "I'm not pretending!" Josh replies stoking my hair, "You are because no one loves me, because I'm a horrible human being!" I scream, soaking his top with tears.

Josh pov
"You are because no one loves me, because I'm a horrible human being!" Anna screams with tears flooding from her eyes. Her words hit my heart and I gulp, I let go of her. She takes a step back and looks down, I lift her chin up and kiss her on the lips. "Why would you do that?" She silently questions, "because I love you Anna, you are the most beautiful and talented person on this earth, I'm the most luckiest person on this earth, because I'm dating you. I LOVE YOU ANNA!" I say with tears forming in my eyes. She looks up and into my eyes, "I love you too Josh!" She whispers and wraps her arms around my chest. I hug her back and we rock backwards and forwards.

I take hold of her hand and I pull her into the beach. We walk along the soft dry sand and watch the waves run up the sand. I look at Anna beside me who is now smiling, her smile grows wider and she lets go of my hand. She then runs closer to the sea, she turns and looks at me and then continues to run. I start to jog to catch up with her, "Are you up for a swim?" Anna asks me. I nod and she removes her dress, I take off my top and trousers. She grabs my hand and pulls me into the sea, we walk to the point where she couldn't touch the bottom. She wraps her legs around my waist and puts her arms around my neck.

She leans forward so our noses touch, she stares into my eyes and I gaze into hers. I lay a kiss on her lips, she kisses back, I begin to kiss her more passionately. Our tongues intertwining and our lips in sync, our bodies against each other's. Anna pulls away "Your the best thing that has ever happened to me!" I state and she smiles, I tuck her hair behind her ears and she bites her lip.

I remove her from my waist and she lays back in the water. I put my hands under her body to make sure she doesn't sink, I watch as she looks up and the still night sky. The moon light hit the water, which made her body shine.

We get out after 10 minutes of messing around and we put our clothes on. I call an Uber!
