Story's of the Realms

The beginning?

When the men reached their table they whispered to each other before grabbing Maddie, and pulling her out the exit. "Where are you taking her?!" Lady demanded, causing others to look to see what the commotion was about. One of the men snuck up behind her and stuck a needle in her arm making her pass out. A woman appeared and started to speak in a flat tone, "Everyone return to what you were doing. These two are enemies of the state." She gestured at us. Lady's head fell back on her chair making the hat she had on covering her small grey horns. The people gasped before shakily turning back to their tables. The woman pressed her temples, a point that would shut down her robotic parts, and proceeded to very forcefully pull Maddie out into a black hover.

Three Hours Later

Maddie was asleep when they arrived at the lab. It really was just an old warehouse, with the newest technology inside. The woman stepped out of the hover, and threw Maddie out onto the cold cement of the sidewalk. She grunted, and tried to stand up, but her limbs were still off. Two of the men grabbed her, and carried Maddie into the building, passing Lady on the way, but were separated almost instantly after getting inside. She pointed to a room and had Maddie put in. "This is your life now," the woman hesitated, "Not that your life will be long." After shutand locked the door she walked away, guards following close behind. A few hours later someone in a lab coat came and brought her to a small room. They had her sit in a chair as they examined Maddie, making sure she was healthy. "Dr. Lee will be here soon," they said leaving the room. Maddie looked around, she was in a room with no windows, just a desk, a door, and a operating table with chains attached to it. She was about to stand up so she could ld get a better look, when the door opened revealing a short man, who Maddie guessed was Dr. Lee. "You seem to to be in great health," he said, looking her up and down, "Other than your 'disabilities'." He walked over to the desk and wrote a few things down in a notepad. "I need you to lay down on here," he said tapping the table. Maddie hesitated before doing as she was told. She lied down on the cold surface of the metal table. Dr. Lee came over and clipped the chains to her arms and legs. He took out a needle and pricked her skin, and started to draw her blood. After that the doctor took a scaple and cut off pieces of her skin, letting her blood drip down onto the hard table. Maddie held back a scream, her tears running down her face. "Now this is the last you'll ever see me," he paused, thinking of how to word what he was going to say, "and most likely this building." He stabbed her with another needle, this time it was already filled. Filled with a green liquid. Maddie started to see black, and soon her eyes closed.

Lady awoke in a cold sweat. She rubbed her head and looked around. Elli stood there. "You ready? Or do you wanna wait a bit?" She looked at Lady with her golden eyes, glistening even in this dimly lit room. "We should go now," Lady said standing up.
"Alright, y'know what's best for you," she said as she picked up her staff off the ground and waving it opening the portal.
