(A month after the last chapter)
•Ross's POV•
Shelby left to hang out with her friend Mya about an hour ago and they are going shopping. I'm sitting in my room writing a song for Shelby. She's still getting hate and it's been a month so she's always depressed and she still cries a lot. I'm planning on singing it to her when she gets home so I called her.
(M-me (Ross) S-Shelby)
S-hey babe
M-hey baby wyd?
S-nothing,just about to get lunch then we're gonna continue shopping
M-okay...can I talk to Mya for a minute?
S-sure
Mya-hey Ross...what did you want?
M-could you keep shelby out of the house for another hour?
Mya-uhh yeah..why?
M-I wrote a song for her and I need time to rehearse it
Mya-okay,I'll talk to you later
*Mya gives the phone back to Shelby*
M-I'm sorry baby girl but I can't talk anymore,I have band rehearsal
S-okay,I'll see you later love you!
M-okay love you more!!! 😘😘😘
We hang up and I put my phone down and I go to the living room where my siblings and Ratliff are. I stand in front of them and say "guys,I just wrote a song for Shelby and we need to rehearse it because I wanna sing it to her when she gets home which will be in an hour so we need to hurry up.
Everyone gets up and we go get in the van and quickly drive to Hollywood Records and practice the song
*an hour later*
•Shelby's POV•
Me and Mya drove back home and we got out of the car and walk to the front door,unlock it and walk inside. When we walk in I see everyone in the living room and I sit down on the couch next to Ross. "Hey babe," he said holding my hand and then kissing it. I said, " hey baby,what you guys doing?" and I kissed his hand too. "Nothing,just sitting here talking but guess what?" "What?" "We have a surprise for you,close your eyes." I close my eyes and Ross helps me up and we walk to the backyard. They lead me over to a chair and I sit down with my eyes still closed. After a minute Ross tells me to open my eyes. I did and a small platform/stage was in front of me and Ross,Riker,Rydel,Rocky and Ratliff were up there with their instruments. Ross says into his microphone, "Shelby,I know this has been a tough month with all the hate and I'm sorry about that and to make you feel better we have 2 songs to sing..I hope you like them." I sat in my seat about to cry. Riker started singing "today I feel like running naked through your street to get your attention woah-oh-oh," I giggled at that. Riker finished singing his part and next was Ross's,he sang "I dream on dream about you what can I do to make you feel alright baby I don't wanna see you cry no I wanna see you Smile."
After the song was over I was in tears and my make up was ruined but no one cared.
The next song they sang was Rather Be by Clean Bandit.
I heard Ross's voice sing "when I am with you there's no place I'd rather be" and a big smile grew on my face.
After the sing I got up out of my seat and ran to Riker and gave him a hug,then Ratliff,then Rydel then Rocky and lost but not least Ross. We stayed in the hug for a few minutes. We finally pulled back and stared into each other's eyes. After staring for a minute he kissed me. It was the most passionate kiss we have ever had,I felt butterflies in my stomach. We pulled back from the kiss and we all went inside and watched movies and I cuddled up in Ross's arms and laid my head on his chest and held his hand.
