Just Protecting. [Leon Kennedy] (RE4)

Chapter 2.

Upon reaching the Village door after dealing with other people on the way, opening it. Leon see's men and women working like normal people which was a normal thing. Going behind a tree and took out his binoculars and zoomed in.

Looking around Leon didn't see anything out of the ordinary but when he looked in the middle where the fire was, he saw one of the Spaniard Officer hanging burnt to a crisp.

Leon: (Mumbled) What the...

He didn't look at it longer, he put away his binoculars and crept around the back of the houses there and as he reached half way, he stepped on a stick making it snap. He quickly but quietly looked around making sure no one heard him but when he looked in front he saw a woman carrying a pitchfork ready to stab him. He dodged and ran to the front. A man yelled making everyone look at Leon and took out their pitchforks, axes and other dangerous objects.

Leon cursed under his breath and quickly ran into a house shutting the door making them bang on it with their fists.

Leon: Who are these people?

Going to the window, peeking out seeing them discussing something.

Leon: What are they planning?

He then saw a man turned on a Chainsaw.

Leon: Great Chainsaw.

Leon saw a desk and quickly pushed it towards the door making a barricade. Once he finished he heard a glass window broke. He looked upstairs.

Leon: Shit!

He looked towards the next window that was nailed with boards but can see outside a bit. One of the men peeked in and started to bang on the board.

Leon: Son of a.....

In the Village on top of one of the Houses....

???: Why do I have to be here again?

???: You have to make sure Leon's safe and doesn't get hurt.

???: He can take care of himself.

???: Ren.

Ren: Hunnigan.

Hunnigan: Just... make sure he's safe. If you get caught that's perfectly fine. Make up something and you guys will be on your way doing the same mission.

Ren: So I have to protect him secretly.

Hunnigan: Yes.

Ren saw Leon appearing through the middle and heard someone yell making everyone in the village look at Leon. He saw Leon hurriedly went into the the house next to him. Ren scoffed and smirked.

Ren: Smart but not Smart enough.

Ren knew Ada was still alive considering he's seen her here already creeping around the village when he came. He was angry that Ada faked her death but that was least of his problems. Ren knew Ada was here for something meaning she already seen Leon coming here. Ren, Leon and Ada was in Raccoon City fighting the dead, they saw Ada died but guess that was a fake. Ren and Leon parted ways when it was over but they went into the same Organization without themselves knowing until Ren discovered it now.

Ren: Let's get down to business shall we.

Jumping down from the roof ready to take down some ganados with guns in hand.

Leon looked behind the stairs and saw Handgun bullets. Moving quickly he took it and ran upstairs to see a Shotgun on the wall. He questioned it but took it anyway, he took the Grenade that was on the shelf next to the Shotgun and saw money and took that as well as the Shotgun shells.

Leon went downstairs to a clearing to have a better shot at the people. Soon the door broke down and he saw the Chainsaw guy coming in with a bag on his head. The rest came in behind him. Leon took out the Shotgun and fired it towards the group making half of them go down. Leon all of a sudden heard a next gun shot outside but couldn't pay attention to it and continued to fire.

After what seemed like hour's, once the Chainsaw guy died a bell rang in the air causing everyone to stop. The people in The village looked at the bell that was a little far away and dropped their weapons and started to walk towards the church at the end saying Spanish. But most of all.

"Lord Saddler."

Once all of them were in, Leon got out and went to the middle turning around and looked everywhere.

Leon: (Scoffed and Mumbled) Where's everyone going? Bingo.

Leon reached Hunnigan on his radio.

Leon: Hunnigan, I have some bad news. I've confirmed the body of an officer. Something's happened to the people here.

Hunnigan: Leon. You need to get out of there. Find a tower and follow the trail near it.

Leon: Got it!

Leon put the radio back and was about to walk but he heard a gun behind his head.

???: Put your hands up.

Leon knew he heard this voice before.

Leon: Sorry but following someone else's lead just isn't my style.

???: Put them up now.

Leon eyed the right. Spinning around quickly grabbing the man's hand twisting it to his back making the gun fall out and drop to the ground. The man groaned but quickly raised his right foot and rammed it hitting Leon's right leg making him let go and he kicked Leon's side making him go to his knee's. The man put some space between them. Leon got out his gun and pointed it at the man but realized who he was.

Leon: Ren.

Leon was shocked to say the least.

Ren: In the flesh baby.

Leon: What are u doing here?

Ren: (Lying) Oh you know just on a mission to find someone. Hanging out and Killing Zombies same old, same old.

Leon chuckled and put away his gun.

Ren: What are u doing here?

Leon: Finding the President's daughter.

Ren: Ahh. I see you haven't lost your style yet. Same dirty blond hair. Same face not gonna lie still handsome.

Leon laughed.

Leon: You havent changed either.

They looked in each other in the eyes remembering every event that had happened back in Raccoon City. Ren couldn't lie and say that he didn't had a crush on Leon back then. He kept it a secret. Leon have a crush on Ren but kept it a secret as well. Most of their time in Raccoon City was them being flirty and sweet to eachother which didn't bother the two of course.

Ren knew Ada had a small crush on Leon but Leon only thought of her as a friend in that case. Ren and Leon went their separate ways when it ended. Leon thought the crush was gone but here he was, standing right infront of him and just like that it was back. Both of them coughed.

Leon: You wanna join me?

Ren: Sure. It wouldn't hurt to help an old time friend.

Ren thought it was a good idea to come now rather than coming out when a bigger threat decides to get Leon. Ren will have more time to Protect and stay by Leon's side. Ren knew Leon's stubborn which makes the protecting part more harder.
