Just Protecting. [Leon Kennedy] (RE4)

Chapter 6.

Leon and Ren started to walk to the side of the church to see a door. Leon went to open it but it was locked. They followed the path next to it seeing two of the ganados there, a woman and a man. They shouted and pointed at them, Leon and Ren shot both dropping dead to the floor. They went in to see something glowing in the middle but it was some sort of puzzle.

Ren: Do you're magic.

Ren smirked at Leon causing him to scoff and shakes his head. He went up to it and inspected it. There were seven weird symbols on it.

Leon: "3 family insignias of the dead ringers".... Well it looks like the dial only turns clockwise in either 3 or 4 increments.

Leon stayed silent for a bit then started messing around with it. While Ren looked up and saw another Blue Medallion and shot it.

It opened. Leon grabbed it (Green Catseye) and gave it to Ren. They walked back and head into the other path next to it seeing that it was over the ocean but the bridge held up pretty well. They walked on it and saw a woman there, Ren shot her and she feel off going into the freezing cold water.

They walked up a bit and saw two male ganados jumped over with axes in their hands. Leon and Ren kicked both of them off and jumped over to a small little cabin that was at the right and went in. Ren opened the crate that was on the shelf while Leon took up a note that was on the table infront of them. Ren opened the crate that was on the table as well but there was a snake and it jumped to bite Leon that wasn't paying attention, Ren quickly grabbed Leon's arm pulling him into him causing them to go back against the wall. The snake flew pass where Leon was before and fell to the ground.

Ren was against the wall while Leon was infront of him. They stared into each others eyes as they were a few inches away. They breath heavily, staying in silence for a few seconds until Leon broke it.

Leon: Thanks....

Ren: No problem.....so about that note..

Leon: Huh...Oh yeah

They broke the eye contact and looked at the note in Leon's hands.

"Closure of the Church"

"Regarding the three fugitives, the apprehension of Luis is our top priority; the American Agents a distant second."

"What Luis stole from us is far more important than the girl."

"Unless we get it back, the girl will become us less to us. We must get it back to execute out plan to the end."

"If it gets in the wrong hands, the world would become a totally different place than what Lord Saddler has envisioned."

"At all costs, we mustn't let that happen. Nevertheless, we're not letting go of the girl. To ensure that the Agents does not get to her, I have locked the Church door where the girl is being held."

"Anyone who needs access to the church must first get approval by Lord Saddler."

Ren: We don't need approval.

"There is a key beyond the lake but it should be safe now that the "Del Lago" has been awakened by our Lord. No one will get across the lake alive."

"Plus, our same blood courses through the two agents veins. It'll be just a matter of time before they join us. Once they do, there will be nobody else left that will come looking for the girl."

"The blood... its in both of us." Ren thought.

Ren: It's honestly stupid that they decide to write down there next plan. They are not secretive at all.

Leon chuckled.

Leon: At least we know what's going to happen.

They walked out the door back onto the bridge. Ren shot the Medallion that was hanging on a piece of wood that was on top and one that was underneath them. They walked further to see a door and walked through it.

They saw broken up wood everywhere and dust in the air. They walked straight and saw a sort of like arena. There were three sheds at the side and huge door. Ren went up to it and heard growling on the other side of it. But he continued checking the place and went to the other side waiting for Leon to catch up.

Leon held some ammo for Ren to take it and walked at the side of him to see a door infront of them and a ladder going down to a next door. They decided to go to the one below and walked through it seeing another way down and went and turned the corner to see a stream on the left and a shop or maybe the merchant and a type writer.

They went to the merchant and sell some Spinels and other worthy elements.

Merchant: Well how many Medallions have u shot in a while stranger?

Leon: About 14.

Merchant: Well good job strangers this one is on the house.

The Merchant gave Leon a Punisher.

Ren: Nice.

Leon: I'll sell my old one then.

They finished talking to the Merchant and went up the ladder going through the door they came out of and going to the other door that was on the right side of them. They opened and went in.

They saw another shed and went in, grabbed the ammo and left going down the path. Halfway they heard gravel fall and another boulder came at them. They started to run and found a spot and jumped to a clearing, the boulder smashed into pieces as it hit the wall. Leon got up helping Ren to his feet.

Leon: You alright?

Ren: Yea. Another one down.

Leon chuckled and walked up front with Ren behind him. They came upon a pathway that was filled with water, bombs, small little houses with people waiting for them. They protected eachother on the way through the path killing everyone in their site to the other side. They gather money and ammo on the way.

They went into a shed that's was on the left side of them.

Ren: How many sheds are there??

Leon: Clearly a million considering we went into a lot this whole time.

Ren: I get you're point.

They come out of the shed and went up the path to another door and walked up to it opening and going through it seeing another path.

Ren: Wawww another path so interesting.

Ren was bored of fighting the same thing over and over again. Leon was bored as well but not as Ren. They walked up the path seeing a lake. They duck down and took out their binoculars and saw two men on a boat driving going to the middle, they stopped dropping a body of an officer that was with Leon in the water.

Leon looked closely as well as Ren. The two men drove off leaving the officer in the water. All of a sudden, the water shaked harshly. A massive fish of some sort grabbed the officer in its teeth and jumped back into the water causing a big splash.

They were shocked at how massive it was. Leon looked at Ren and smirked.

Leon: Seems like we get to fight a new species.

Ren: Shut up Leon.
