" EPILOGUE "

Winter break had finished quicker then Loren and Zach were hoping and neither was ready to go back to school quite yet. Gray was no less ready to continue on in middle school as the elder two were with high school. Gray was still frequently seeing a psychologist about his night terrors he had gained since returning from the nightmare of an island and Loren would be lying if she said that she hasn't suffering from any type of post traumatic stressors, she was a mess. Getting little to no sleep, not being able to look at a single news report and felt utterly helpless and guilty due to the fact that she didn't watch a loved one be brutally murdered by a dinosaur as many others had on the island. However, Zach seemed to recover well, or as well as he had led on to believe, his damenier was weaker than Loren's though, and had a couple breakdowns in the couple of weeks since the attack.

Clair didn't stay at the Mitchell residence for long, and the two unhappily married couple decided to break off the divorce while they worked on being their for their children during this time. Loren's father, on the other hand, was worried for his daughter. She had not cried in front of him, nor asked for help with her problems, though late in the night he could hear her screams and he knew there was nothing he could do to help her. She was almost an adult and refused to see a psychologist, refused to speak with her father and wanted no one to speak a word to her. Even Zach found it hard to come over and greet his girlfriend whom seemed to push him away.

Marcus has visited his two best friends frequently over the passing weeks, bringing them chocolate and hot pockets to pass the winters harsh coldness. However, neither of them seemed to want to do much talking. It felt earily wrong for him to sit on Loren's desk chair as he read a comic -something he frequently did before this incident- and make slight small talk while occasionally bringing up Zach and how he was fairing, and he'd do the same when visiting Zach.

They had seemed so happy the day he had come to see them at the dock's after everything that had happened. The Mitchell's explained that it had been their adrenaline keeping them going that morning -something Gray's psychologist had informed them as they had asked of their other son and family friend-.
