Y/N's POV
I knew coming to Korea alone would be a bad idea. I'm walking aimlessly around the streets of Seoul, South Korea because I'm lost. I left my hotel to get some food and my phone is dead. Now I have no clue where I'm going and I can't ask for help because I can't speak Korean fluently. I brought a book to translate important things but I stupidly left it at the hotel.
"Well I think that says the subway station is that way," I say to myself. I groan and start heading that way when someone stops me.
"Excuse me, are you lost?" The stranger asks in English. Thank goodness someone speaks English. His voice sounds a little familiar though. I turn and look at him and he has a face mask on. He's carrying a big bag of takeout food and some drinks.
"I am. I went to get some food and got lost. I really should've just ordered room service," I say and sigh. He laughs at that and says,
"What hotel are you staying at?" I tell him the hotel and his eyes light up in excitement. "I know where that is. You can follow me!"
"You don't have to, it looks like you need to go somewhere," I say, pointing to his bag. He replies, "it's perfectly fine. That hotel is really close to where I'm going. Your English speaking knight in shining armor is here." He playfully curtsies. I giggle and start following him.
We start walking a little and I notice his hair under his hat is pink. I look up at him and realize why that voice was familiar. It's Joshua from Seventeen! "Hold on, Mr. Knight. Do you happen to know who Seventeen is?" I ask gently. "Maybe," He says, dragging out the 'Y' sound. "I'm Joshua. I noticed you because you were wearing a Seventeen shirt and I noticed you looked lost so I decided to help you. And I'm so glad you aren't freaking out right now." He laughs.
"Honestly me too. I always thought I was the type of fan to either cry or faint if I saw my favorite idol but I guess not," I reply. He laughs again and I start to fangirl a little because his laugh is so cute. I manage to hide my fangirling and laugh along with him.
"So tell me a little about yourself. For one, what's your name? How long have you liked our group? Why are you in Korea and why are you here alone?" He asks and I can tell he's actually curious. Cute.
"My name is Y/N and I'm here because I wanted to see what Korea was like. I might be moving here soon. I really want to become a hairdresser for a group or entertainment company, it seems really fun. I've liked you guys since you came back with 'Clap'. And I'm alone here because my friend who was going to come with got really sick last minute and I couldn't cancel my flight." He nods as I speak.
"Wow, I'm sorry. It must be pretty scary being here alone and not being fluent." He says. He asks about my Korean speaking skills.
"I can say a few phrases that I've heard from you and other groups. And I have a book to help me but I left it at my hotel," I mentally thank myself for leaving it, otherwise I would've never ran into Joshua. We get to the street that my hotel is on and I get a little upset. This was really nice and I honestly don't want to leave.
Josh's POV
We start walking a little slower once we get to the street that Y/N's hotel is at. I really had a lot of fun getting to know her a little bit on our walk. I really want to talk to her more and get to know her, but I need to get back so the other members and I can eat. I ask her, "When are you leaving Korea?" She answers sadly,
"The day after tomorrow. My flight is at 7 in the morning."
"Do you want to hang out with me tomorrow? I have the day off and I really want to get to know you more. I could show you around Seoul as well so you never get lost again," I say and laugh. She says yes and I ask for her number so we can figure out a time and place to meet tomorrow.
We finally get to the hotel and bid our goodbyes. "Goodbye, Y/N! I'll call you later and see you tomorrow," I sweetly say and curtsy again.
"Bye, Joshua! I can't wait." She laughs. As I leave, I think to myself, "Well this isn't how I thought getting food for the guys would go but I'm glad I met Y/N".
