*(Y/N)'s POV*

Staying up alone at home on a Friday night is a perfectly horrible way to spend it.
I know it's Saturday tomorrow, a lazy day for me, but I have no motivation to do anything!

I've spent most of my time trying to play guitar. I do it for fun by myself.
I kinda wish I had someone to play it with.
I've even tried playing Guitar Legends 3, but I can't even do those songs...

I just decided to sleep at 1 in the morning, which is later than usual.

The next morning...

I need to buy some food. Just a quick snack at the convenience store around the corner.
Himari-chan always goes there with her friends.

I slowly put on my clothes, washed up, the usual morning routine, and I walked there.
Usually, I care a lot about my appearance, but not right now...

I strolled by the aisles as I walked in the store.
Nothing looked particularly tasty. Not the chocolate, not the chips...

I thought I was hungry.
I wonder why nothing looks good.

As I went to grab a bag of chips, I noticed from the corner of my eye, a girl, with her light-brown hair glistened in the morning sunlight.

Her hair is so beautiful... And that's just her hair! Imagine how she looks...

As soon as I looked toward her direction, there was nobody there.

For a second there, I felt different...
And it was only a part of her.
Too bad I didn't see her face. Maybe she'll be back tomorrow.

* * * *

I spent the rest of my Saturday thinking of that girl.
This is the first time something like this has happened to me.

As the day ended and I went to sleep again, I was actually excited for tomorrow.
If I actually can see her, maybe I can talk to her.
I mean, I have friends at school, like Himari-chan and Hina-chan, but both of them are always full of energy.
I wish I could borrow some energy of theirs.

I woke up the next morning, and this time I quickly threw on my clothes and just ran out straight to the convenience store.

I entered the building and looked high and low for the brown-haired girl.
I looked through every aisle and pretty much everywhere.

"Maybe she's not here today," I thought. "What a bummer..."

I began to exit the store, but as I looked up, right in front of me...

It was her.
The girl.

Now she's in front of me, and I realized I do know who she is.
She's Imai Lisa, from my class at school!

Why is it now that I'm just realizing this?!

She was looking for something on the shelves.
Then she noticed me.

"Oh, is there something you need here? I'll move!"
She said that with a smile.

She stood in the sunlight.
It made her eyes appear to glow beautifully as well.

I continued staring at her.

Aghh! Say something, (Y/N)! This is gonna get weird!

"Hey, you're (Y/N), aren't you?" she asked. "You sit in front of me in class!"

My heart is beating way too fast right now!
I might need an ambulance soon!

"I've gotta go now. I'll see you at school tomorrow, Imai-san!"
I ran off toward my house, face red.

I really screwed that up.
I'm not sure what got into me there.
Why...?

I laid in bed thinking about that for a while.

I must've dozed off after a while.
I'm actually excited for Monday!
That's a first.

* * * *

As I went to school, it started to sprinkle a bit. After a while, the rain started to come down a bit harder.

"I didn't bring my umbrella..." I said to myself. "I'll be all soaked in class..."

Somebody next to me raised their umbrella next to me.

"Need to dry up a bit?" they asked. It was Imai-san.

"Thank you. I forgot my umbrella today."

She was walking really close to me, our shoulders nearly touching.
Her pink earrings, that I guess are little rabbits, were bouncing up and down lightly.
Her hair seemed to be wet already.
The umbrella was small, so she was walking partially in the rain.

"Um, you're out in the rain, Imai-san," I said.

"Ahh, it's no problem!" She said with a laugh.
Why is she always so positive? It's such a great quality of hers.

"May I ask you a question, (Y/N)?" Imai-san asked.

"Sure."

"You're holding a guitar pick, right?" She asked.

"Yeah." I just noticed I was holding it still. "I play guitar, but not too much recently. Do you?"

"Bass. For my band, Roselia. Although they expect a lot, and they're all so good..."

She said that, and for the first time, she used a different tone of voice.
Not angry or upset... I'm not sure what it was.

I was so far lost in thought that I nearly tripped on a small pothole.

"Ack!"

I was stopped by Imai-san holding my hand, preventing an embarrassing accident.

"Th-thanks," I said.
I started to blush. Imai-san's hand is so smooth, yet it's somewhat rough. It must because she plays bass so much.

Imai-san smiled again.

*Lisa's POV*

This boy...
He's so clumsy, it's kind of cute.

He looks so stressed.
Maybe I can help!

"(Y/N), do you want to come to my house after school?" I asked.

"For what?"

"You look stressed. How about I make you some cookies?"

"Ahh, that sounds so good. It's a deal!"

And so, with that, we have a plan!
I mean, I do have band practice with Roselia, but I can just practice on my own.
I'll give them a heads-up so they don't worry.

After school is going to be so fun today!
