Chapter Five - "The Sunset, With You"

*Lisa's POV*

We arrived at Live House Galaxy.
Since it was already late in the afternoon, there weren't any bands there, not even Roselia.

However, a staff member, Lock, was onstage, cleaning it up.
She looked at us and became surprised.

"Oh! Imai-san from Roselia! Welcome! What can I do for you?"

"Hey, Lock! I just wanted to use the stage for about ten minutes. Is that okay?"

"Sure!" She responded. "Actually, Roselia was just here. They left your guitar for you here."

Yukina... And the others...
Thank you.
Truthfully, I was going to borrow one.
But this much, much better.

"Thanks, Lock. You're the best!" I said.

"H-huh? No problem, Imai-san..."
She turned red and went off elsewhere.

"So, this is the live house," (Y/N) spoke up. "I don't spend much time here."

"We always practice here or at CiRCLE," I told him. "Now sit down, (Y/N). I've got a special performance for you, and just you."

"What? For me?"

"Yeah. I'm gonna get my guitar. Wait one sec."

I picked up my guitar, leaning on the wall behind the stage.
Lock probably made sure no one ran off with it.

I tuned it a bit and took deep breaths.
This song is just for (Y/N).
This song is Roselia's, but I think singing it to him will give it a new meaning.

After a bit of practice, I walked to the middle of the stage, in front of (Y/N). He applauded me.

"Thank you. This song is called 'Sunkissed Rhodonite', and it's for you, (Y/N)."

Red signposts link fates
I just face forward and aim for them
Voices and faces are leading me onward
My kind person, rhodonite in the sun

I looked right at (Y/N).
"I love you! I truly do. That was my song. You are my rhodonite in the sun."

(Y/N) clapped while crying.
"Lisa... When I first met you, when I saw your eyes in the rising sun, I fell in love. And I love you more now."

"Oh, (Y/N)..."
I stepped offstage and hugged (Y/N).

"Sniff..."
Someone behind us sounded like they were crying as well.
It was Lock!

"Lock! Are you okay?" I asked after (Y/N) and I stopped hugging.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Your performance was too good there, Imai-san. Ten out of ten."

"Thanks, Lock. We'll be heading out now. I'll be taking my guitar as well."

"Goodbye, Imai-san. I hope to see you with Roselia soon!"

As (Y/N) and I walked out of the live house, we ran into... Roselia and Hina-chan?

"You guys?!" I shouted, surprised. "Why are you here?!"

"We couldn't let (Y/N) run off with our Lisa, could we?" Yukina said.

"Well, we just came to make sure all is okay," Sayo added.

"So Lisa-chi has a boyfriend?" Hina teased.

Everyone turned red, including me.
"Uhh, yeah!" I replied.

"And it's all pretty much thanks to me," she boasted.

"Hina...!" Sayo interrupted. "Sorry, (Y/N)-san. Hina is... something else."

"Okay, okay, sorry! Maybe I'll get you a boyfriend next, Sis! Maybe one who can play Guitar Legends 3 like you!"

Sayo turned even redder.
"I'm fully devoted to my guitar and Roselia."

"Okay, everyone," Ako spoke up. "How about we go to the nearby restaurant and have us some ramen?"

"That sounds... nice..." Rinko quietly said.

Everyone all agreed at once.
"So! All on (Y/N)'s tab? Let's go!" Hina rushed off.

Sayo sighed, smiled, and followed her.
Ako and Rinko went as well.

(Y/N) shrugged and laughed.
"Well, we can enjoy this brief moment together," he said as he held my hand. "I have another thing for you."

Huh? What could it be?
(Y/N) handed me a little pink crochet cat.

"It's for you. I secretly made it earlier!"

"Aww, what a cute kitty! I love it!" I told him.

As the last of the sun was setting under the horizon, I looked back.
All this happened in just a few days.
I found the perfect one for me, a person named (Y/N).
He's funny, creative, and definitely someone to bring me up if I ever feel down.
But I can also do the same to him.

Once again, we walked hand in hand, toward the ramen shop.

I have no idea what the future will hold for us. It certainly will be a future I look forward to seeing with (Y/N) by my side.

And because of that, I know all will be well.

"Lisa, are you crying?" (Y/N) asked.

"Oh, I am. I'm just happy I'm with you," I told him.
I leaned in and gave (Y/N) another kiss.

"Lisa... You're gonna hit that stop sign," he told me.

"Eek!" I squealed. I narrowly missed it.
"Thanks again, (Y/N)."

We both laughed as we continued to walk on toward the ramen shop, to enjoy our time together.
