Chapter 27

Jungkook's POV

5 years later

"Seoyeonie you know we will see them this weekend. Stop whining angel."

She huffed and puffed her little cheeks out, giving me an angry pouty glare. She's so cute even when she's upset. Jin says she looks like me when I throw a tantrum. In fact, she's a lot like me personality wise too hence we keep clashing. She wants her way, all the time. There's no room for discussion. I don't think I'm like that though...For some reason, Jin always laughs when I say that.

Right now, Seoyeon is upset because she wants to visit with her brothers, both of whom are studying Medicine at Seoul University. Jin and I are so blessed with our twins. Their so focused and determined in their choice of career. The downside though was having them both move to the dorms on campus. We all really miss them a lot.

Jimin already has a girlfriend. We met her last weekend and she seems like a good person. But with Jimin, we don't know how long it will last. At the rate that he runs through relationships, Jin and I can't keep track anymore. Taehyung just laughs off all Jimin's supposed greatest love affairs. He's more focused on his studies and isn't really interested in anyone. His father and I don't pressure him. He has all the time in the world for romance when he's ready.

Seoyeon on the other hand, misses them the most. She's so attached to her brothers and they with her. Jin and I are truly blessed with beautiful children.

"But I miss my oppas papa! Why can't I go visit them when I want to? Diminie oppa says I can! He says I am the queen of the universe and I can do whatever I wish, include banish you to the planet Zorthon!" She huffs again and folds her arms in her lap.

I shake my head with this child. Jimin keeps putting these weird ideas in her head. "You're really going to banish papa?" Insert fake crying here

"Who's going to buy you pretty dolls and cute plushies then? You know appa won't. That's why you have me. Appa will take you to boring museums and cake exhibitions. Whose going to take you to build-a-bear and tea parties with Barbie if you banish me?"

I watch as she sqirms and considers my questions. When she concentrates hard like that, she looks so much like Jin. Her determined face wavers and I watch as she comes over to me at the table and wraps her little arms around me.

"Sorry papa. I won't banish you. Promise. But can I at least go see Min Min and ahjussi? I miss Nari."

Min Jee and Seojun adopted a little girl last year. She's the same age as Seoyeon. The two are like sisters now. I know Seoyeon misses her too but they live in Busan and we only get to see them intermittently. My little angel gets lonely sometimes but she'll be starting school soon so I know she'll be occupied.

"Let me call and ask them if they can visit us. Is that okay sweetpea?"

She beams at that while I retrieve my phone and call Min Jee.

Hey Min. How's things?

We chat for a few minutes and Min Jee suggests I send Seoyeon for a short holiday so Jin and I can have some much needed alone time. That sounds amazing as Jin has been very busy at the hospital and hardly ever rests. I decide to book us a short mid-week vacation while Seoyeon stays in Busan.

As I prepare Seoyeon's bag, I can hear Jin downstairs in the kitchen with noona and Seoyeon. Their busy making pancakes. I smile at their pretty laughter, wafting up to me in the nursery that I'm now re-designing to convert into a proper bedroom for Seoyeon. She'll soon outgrow the little camper-bed and she insists on a princess Barbie theme.

When I'm done, I head back down to join them. There's pancake batter in Jin's hair and some smeared on Seoyeon's cheek. They look crazy but happy, laughing and pointing at each other.

"Look papa, appa looks like an ice cream sundae!"

Jin's eyes meet mine, and my breath hitches. Damn, this man still lights my fire after all these years. I look away and start laughing at their craziness.

"Seoyeonie looks good enough to eat! Don't you think so appa?" I exchange a look with Jin and we both grab her and tickle her, pretending to bite and eat her up. Her giggles emanate throughout the house, just as the doorbell sounds and I rush to open the door for our friend Min Jee.

She had some work to do in the city and now she's come to collect Seoyeon with little Nari for their trip back to Busan. The two girls run off to Seoyeon's room and we chat for a bit until it's time for them to leave.

"Now you be a good girl and don't trouble mother or ahjussi okay?" Jin says to our little princess.

We hug her tight and watch as she drives away with Min Jee. I'm so glad our kids have Min Jee. She truly did a one eighty on us all and she's become a source of constant love and friendship in our lives. When Seojun and her remarried, she officially became part of the Kim family. I sometimes tease her about that.

We wave to them and noona takes her leave a short while later. I decide to text the boys to let them know of our plans. As expected, my Taehyunggie is the one to reply. Jimin is apparently on a date. I roll my eyes at that son of ours.

I feel the bed dip and turn to see my glorious lover, fresh out of the shower with damp hair and a towelling robe thrown hastily over himself as an afterthought. There's little left to my imagination and I lick my lips in anticipation as he wordlessly captures my lips in a deep and sensuous kiss.

"Let's begin that vacation, shall we?" He whispers seductively against my wet lips, as I smile and bring him in for a long and delicious kiss.
