Kyomi hoped off the monorail and passed through the gates with her MagicBand. Overhead, the high pitched scream of a train whistle warned guests of the departure for a grand circle tour of the Magic Kingdom. Kids laughed and yelled as the trained took off. Main Street USA bustled to life with the ringing of the trolley car gliding on the railroad pathway, the Dapper Dans' singing their nostalgic melodies of old barbershop tunes and a pianist playing away ragtime outside of Casey's Corner. But just pass the bronze statue of Walt and Mickey was the incredible shining monument of all; Cinderella's Castle. The gateway to the seven magical lands and the symbol of hope, wishes and dreams come true.
"All right, whoever wants to ride Space Mountain come with me!" Najyaba said.
Many of the girls sided with Najyaba while a couple more decided to go with Jade to Adventureland. Kyomi pulled out her phone and took a couple of shots of the beautiful castle. She looked around to see a handful of couples taking numerous of selfies. Kyomi slide her finger across the phone screen leading her back to the main menu and shut the phone off. She sighed.
"Aren't you going with us, Kyomi?" Serena asked.
Kyomi didn't say a word as she stared up at the giant icon. Her attention seemed to be focused on something else.
"Help us...!" Kyomi looked around her. "Help us! Please!" Someone was calling her. Quickly, she bolted towards the rose garden just west of the castle. She looked around the few groups of people searching for the pinpoint of the voice. It disappeared.
No! I lost him.
"Kyomi!" Serena said finally catching up with her with Claire not far behind. "Why did you just run off like that?"
Kyomi turned around to face her friends who were huffing to regain their breath.
"Sorry, I-I just..." Kyomi said. A pause. She looked back at the two. I can't tell them... "I just got excited. I think I'll head on over to Fantasyland first."
Serena narrowed her eyes at her. Something was bothering Kyomi.
"Claire and I are coming with you!"
Kyomi gave Claire and Serena a grand tour of her beloved kingdom. Much had changed over the last decade at the Magic Kingdom. Fantasyland got an upgrade featuring the wonderful edition of Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid. Snow White's Scary Adventure was replaced by the new Hall of Princesses with an outstanding wait time of 120 minutes. Kyomi saw the line wrapping around a couple of buildings. It was a huge welcome for the new generation. Since she was in the world of fantasy, it was only fitting to ride the beautiful carousel. But before the carousel ride, Kyomi had to take a trip down nostalgia lane in Mickey's PhilharMagic.
The three girls entered the show building. The walls in were colored with musical notes and various musical reference in portrait form as the line slowly weaved through the queue . Once the trio retrieved their opera glasses, they entered into another holding area just outside of the concert hall. After hearing Goofy suffer a couple of mishaps, the auto-magic doors opened and everyone entered into the grand concert hall. It was a full house today. As Minnie instructed everyone to put on their glasses, the show began with the mischievous Donald Duck taking Mickey's Sorcerer's hat and accidentally unleashing an uncontrolled spell sending him into the different worlds of the Disney Renaissance period.
The scene panned over to a starry night in London. Tinker Bell flew across the screen causing all the little girls to cheer for their favorite fairy. Tink came a little closer to the audience and pointed towards the right. Kyomi shook her head. What? This isn't part of the show! The fairy put her hands on her hips and flew closer to Kyomi.
