I walk down the hallways of the school, reluctantly having to leave Yui in Ruki's hands, as I search for Ayato. Unfortunately, I am, instead, met with the laziest creature on earth: Shu Sakamaki, simply sitting against the wall in an empty hallway. I stop walking, hoping to get any answers out of him as I roll my eyes at his lack of response upon my appearance.

"Earth to sleeping beauty? Anyone home?" I bluntly say as he opens one of his eyes to look me up and down and scoffs, going back to listening to his music. "Listen here, I'm not in the mood to play games right now. I just want to know where Ayato is, would you be kind enough to spare some time from your very busy schedule to tell me where he is?" I cross my arms against my chest and wait for him to at least move a muscle, but to no avail. Frustrated at his behavior, I kick his leg, finally getting enough attention for him to lift his head up completely. "I asked you something, asshole." I put my hands in my jacket's pockets while he sighs and tightens his lips together.

I'm surprised he hasn't bashed my head in by now.

"He isn't in school today." I narrow my eyes at him, not instantly believing him but when he looks up at me with a blank look, I turn away and start walking in the direction I came from after muttering a 'thanks'.

Why isn't he here? Today of all days.

I grit my teeth in frustration and look around in hope but only see Kou surrounded by those obnoxious girls. I briefly meet eyes with him and he winks at me with a smirk plastered on his face but I simply shake my head in disappointment as I continue walking by. As soon as I am out of anyone's sight, I receive a call from none other than Ayato. I instantly pick it up and place the phone next to my ear.

"Okay, where the hell are you? And why didn't you call me back?" I continue walking as I wait for a response.

"Look, I was just not feeling up to it today. Plus, I need to think of a way to get Yui out of there without harm." His slightly tired voice rings in my ears as I click my tongue in annoyance.

"Well, you just missed a perfect chance, because Yui is here-" I feel the phone getting snatched from my grip and I look behind me to see Yuma holding up the phone to his ear.

"Who are you talking to, little sis?" He whispers and stays quiet to hear the voice on the other side.

"I was talking to a potential tutor for Yui, can I have my phone back now?" I extend my hand towards him as I respond loud enough for Ayato to hear and catch up on. Yuma, however, looks at the caller ID and a confused expression crosses his face before he puts his ear back on the screen.

"Listen, here, Mr. Oreo, I would like to personally meet you, if that's okay with you- and I'm sure it should be. You can meet Yui and her... guardians, I'm sure." He eyes my movements as he continues speaking.

"Well, that won't be necessary. I'm sure Yui is doing well enough to handle these matters on her own instead of letting her... guardians talk to her tutor." I hear Ayato alter his voice enough to sound like a completely different person as I smirk and ask for the phone again. Yuma sighs and cuts the call without another word and starts walking away.

"Hey! Excuse me! That's my phone in your hand, mind giving it back?!" I call after him but he waves the phone to mock me.

"After school, perhaps." He says and walks away before I can do anything.

What the hell?!

I punch the wall beside me, making it crack from the impact, before yelling out Yuma's name to let him know how angry I am.

"That's a pretty heavy impact." I hear a familiar voice behind me and roll my eyes as I take in his scent.

"You reek of Yui's scent. You animals can't even control yourselves for one second, can you? The moment you see your prey, you jump on it." I turn around to look at Subaru as he instantly breaks eye contact. "You had your chance to take her, yet you didn't. What were you thinking?" I cross my arms and wait for him to defend himself but when he doesn't, I tilt my upper body to block his gaze on the wall. "Hello? What the hell, Subaru?"

"Listen, Kou was there-"

"And? Like that makes it any harder for you to take Yui away. All you have to do is hold her hand and teleport. Or are you too weak to do that?"

"Listen here, you better watch what you say-"

"Or what?" I interrupt him again and step closer to him, trying my best to intimidate him with the proximity and my confidence.

"You can forget about Yui ever leaving that mansion." He replies back instantly but I only smirk in return.

"I thought that wasn't for you to decide. On the other hand, Ayato has already taken care of the situation, so you don't need to worry yourself with your precious blood bag." I grit my teeth and begin to walk away before my anger takes control over me and I end up hurting him or anyone that is unfortunate enough to walk down the hallway.

"We are not done here!" He yells and follows me with quicker steps, then grabs me by my shoulder to push me against the nearest wall.

"You know, you are really beginning to annoy me? So it's better that you stand down before I beat your sorry ass." I smack his arm away from me and continue walking to my class, but not before watching his anger fade into a shocked, wide-eyed reaction.

May the Devil save whoever comes in my path, because I am surely about to bring hell.
