Now for those of you who don't I am a huge fan of the series every since December 2018 and I loved that show. I've watched it at least three times (I'm doing it again the fourth time.) and every time I watch it I was brought to this amazing world in the show. I even enjoyed the sequel series The Legend of Korra in May 2019. Now as you can tell by the title of this chapter we're going to be talking about the live action move of the show called The Last Airbender.

And let me tell you this: IT SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!!!!!!! And that's why today I'm going to give you an explanation as to why it sucks

And let me tell you this: IT SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!!!!!!! And that's why today I'm going to give you an explanation as to why it sucks. So without further ado let's begin.

Quick heads up: Spoilers alert if you haven't seen the film yet.

This film was directed by M Night Shyamalan now I'm sure he has done some decent work before but even he has some downsides and this would probably be one of the most downsides he's ever done he literally disrespected so many things like the pronunciation they say Aang's name wrong, Sokka's name wrong and Iroh's name wrong. I can go on and on and talk about more pronunciations like Avatar and Agni Kai if I want too because that's completely outright disrespectful to the original series. Okay this film was based off of Book 1: Water from the first season of the series and originally they planned to make all three books however after this film failed to deliver that idea was sliced into pieces.

Now let's move on to the characters. I've gotten to know many of the characters in the show especially the main characters but in the film we don't have the same characters we had in the show. Let's start with Aang the show's main protagonist.

Aang is a selfless, brave, wise, and heroic kid despite his young age sure he can be playful at times but Aang is still heroic in the film however Aang is the complete opposite from his show's counterpart. For starters not only does he look like a emotionless kid who's a scared little boy. You want an example? Let's compare the movie and the show like the scene where Zuko and his men comes to the Southern Water Tribe.
