I Got To Start Somewhere

Second Story please comment, need to know what you think, give feedback tell me if it sucks or something.

PLEASE READ!!!

This story needs major editing!!! Because I wrote this like six to five months ago. And realize that I go back and forth between past and present tense! I need to fix it. I didn't even realize it until someone pointed it out in one of my other stories! And then I was like crap aha. So if you read it please bare with me. If you read my latest post you can see that i don't do that anymore. So I need to do some editing. Which won't be done for awhile until I finish my AP english homework that was given over the summer aha. Yeah I got lame homework for the summer. And I realize that I don't add the thoughts of the character like I do now and that needs to be fixed too aha.

Chapter 1

Prologue

''Nyla you have to let me in, I can't help you if you don't tell me about your pass.'' How can I just tell him about everything I don't know him. When all I want to do is forget about everything. My heart has been sealed by my wall I created. Why does he need to know everything?. Can't he just except that I haven't told him for a reason.

''Nyla please,'' he was now begging with his eyes. Am I ready to open up wounds that I have been trying to heal, I feel the wall around my heart shaking ready to fall.

Chapter 1

''I'll be back by midnight.'' dad stated as he grabbed his jacket from the linen closet. He was going out tonight with his friend, no doubt there going to a bar. It's funny how he thinks he must tell me when he will be back, isn't he the parent he can come back at 3 a.m and I wouldn't care. I looked at the clock it was 6 p.m. ''Go hangout with your friends but you must be back home at ten, you have school tommorow.'' he added.  He put his jacket on and looked in the mirror to fix his blonde hair. He smiled after he looked decent he looked at me with his green, ''okay bye.''

''Okay just don't drive if you become drunk call me and I'll pick you up.'' I said with a smile.

He sighed, ''Okay mom.'' he said sarcastically and laughed. He acted more like a kid then a father. He walked out of the house, I heard his car back out of the driveway. Hmm what should I do I can call Gerdy. Gerdy is short for Gertrude she's my best friend, we have known each other since Kindergarten. I dialed her number and waited it rang twice before she answered.

''Hey whats up?" she asked causally.

''Nothing much dad went to hangout with his bar buddies. Do you want to hangout?" I asked please say yes I don't want to be here at my house doing nothing.

''You couldn't have called in a better time, in fact I was about to call you. Some of the guys want to go to the beach and have a bonfire. I hear Gage is going to be there.'' she said in a teasing voice, she knows I had a crush on Gage since seventh grade.
