A blue-black She-cat padded through a forest of dead trees, dirty water, and no prey, sharp claws unsheathed. She had walked this path since when she was an apprentice. It took her to her other mentor; her better mentor.

The she-cat stopped at a muddy clearing, and looked around warily.

"Looking for me?"
The broken hiss made the she -cat jump.. " Brokenclaw! I'm here for training. "
Brokenclaw gave a dirty grin, and then grunted: "Well... Duh. What else would you be here for? Dirt eating?"
The she-cat then gave a grunt of disgust, but didn't reply.
This was followed by another growl, and the black she-cat pounced on her aggravating mentor, who was too busy lecturing her on how to act towards her mentor to notice.
She hit Brokenclaw's bad leg, and sunk her teeth into it. Brokenclaw made a loud hiss, and spun round. She shook the black she-cat off and then pinned her down. The she-cat then raked her claws against Brokenclaw's belly, and Brokenclaw made a strangled yowl in pain. The black she-cat struggled out of being pinned, and leaped at Brokenclaw, who fell down, defeated. The she-cat sat down.

"I told you she'd be the right one. No need to train that Deadpaw cat." Brokenclaw rasped.

The black she-cat whipped her head around the clearing. Who was her mentor talking to?

"Okay, I admit it. You've trained her well." A giant, black, spotted she-cat stepped out of the shadows.

Is that Pantherstar?!

"Greetings, young one. I, Pantherstar, former leader of Leafclan, daughter of Forestowl, and dark forest senior, have something to ask of you."

"Wha... What, Pantherstar? " The black she-cat stood straight up.

"I have a job for you, Birdriver."
"Huh?" Birdriver questioned.
"I'd get revenge on that deputy if I were you." Pantherstar suggested.
"What? Flamespark?" Birdriver gave a surprised mew.
"Yes. Kill him, like he did your sister. I think he deserves it."

Birdriver was quite taken aback.

"Kill him, and your life will be so much better, Birdriver. He doesn't deserve to live."

Pantherstar's voice echoed away as the she-cat woke.

Okay then, Pantherstar. I'll do my best.
