Birdriver watched as Hawkpaw had fought Honeystar from the clifftop
Pathetic.
She turned away, and stalked back into the tunnel.
My plans are going so well! She thought to herself while she padded up the tunnel.

Birdriver came on onto a Rocky hillside, with pine trees dotted around.
So long as Pantherstar, Forestowl, and Brokenclaw keep training me, I'll kill Flamespark in no time.
Birdriver crossed the border between Cliffclan and Leafclan. She then went back to her own camp.
Maybe I could kill all of the other deputies too, then the leaders. I'd rule all the clans if I managed.
Birdriver watched the cats moving around busily.
It's all a trick of the mind. They'll think I'm great, I'll rule the clans, and live in luxury..
"Birdriver..."
Birdriver whipped her head around. There was no cat there.
"I can hear what you're thinking..."
Birdriver turned her head towards camp again, but it wasn't there. Instead, there was a tangled, dark forest, with green mist floating low in front of her. Birdriver saw a silhouette.
The figure for closer and closer still, until she could make out the large shadow cat before her. It was Pantherstar.
"Birdriver." Pantherstar nodded her head.
" Pantherstar... " Birdriver bowed her head.
"I need you to just kill Flamespark for now." Pantherstar growled.
" I apologise, Pantherstar. But are you saying I shouldn't get revenge on the cats who have wronged me?" Birdriver questioned.
" I'm not saying you shouldn't, I'm telling you to only kill Flamespark for now." Pantherstar stepped forward.

Birdriver was annoyed. "Why should I let you tell me what to do? This is my life."
"Because," Pantherstar bellowed. "If you don't wish to cooperate, I can sort an alternative ending for you... " Pantherstar wrapped her large claw around Birdriver's throat. "You did agree to train with me... Or, follow my lead."
" Fine." Birdriver chortled, as Pantherstar gripped her throat. "I will only kill Flamespark, just don't kill me yet."
Pantherstar loosened her grip. "Yet."
Birdriver whispered. "What?"
"If you step out of line, one more time, you're my prey."
Pantherstar scanned Birdriver up and down. Her frightened eyes, large, and her slightly arched back.
"I won't let you down, Pantherstar...." Birdriver promised. Her voice shaking and her fur bristling. "....Ever."
