Chapter 2 - Light Garden

Me and Zoe are walking to the light garden when she suddenly asks me "Y/n/n why do you and Zed never hang out anymore aren't you guys still dating?" I sigh "Well Munchkin your brother has another girlfriend and forgot about me, I mean he even forgot to break up with me and I don't have the heart to bring it up to him because I still love him very much" I tell her with tears pricking my eyes "I don't like zeddies new girlfriend she is very demanding and he's never home anymore cause he's always over at her house" she tells me with sadness lacing her tiny voice "it's alright sweetie you have me" I tell her just as we reach the light garden. I set Zoe down and hold her hand "do you want to sing with me?" I ask her "yes!!" She replies with excitement piercing her answer "alright what do you want to sing?" I ask "Shallow!" She happily answers

I sing with her as we dance around the light garden unaware of someone watching us. Soon we finish singing and she giggles "sing me a song Y/n!" I laugh and reply with a small nod

When I was done singing I noticed Zoe was asleep so I picked her up and carried her home. With some struggle I rang the doorbell and the door opened to see zevon he took Zoe from me and we bid goodbyes and i went back home, changed and fell asleep right as my head hit the pillow.
