My noisy alarm beeped a few more times before I switched it off and then sat upright to get my thoughts together.
I needed coffee to get my thoughts together.
Despite sleeping at 11pm I was still as tired as though I'd fallen asleep for a mere 20 minutes. Heck, I probably resembled a zombie with the bags I had under my eyes.
A sudden surge of excitement rushed through me as I remembered that it was a Friday, meaning I could sleep as much as I wanted to when the weekend came.
I took a quick hot shower and then dressed in pink high waisted flare pants and a black graphic 'ACDC' shirt paired with plain white sneakers. I decided to apply a bit of mascara and simply smeared some fruity lip balm. I was ready to go.
I looked in the mirror as PartyNextDoor's Recognize was blasting through the speakers in my room. Within the few minutes that the day had given me, I formulated a plan.
I was going to make Diego jealous, using Javadd. There was no way I would admit to still having feelings for Diego, all I knew was that I couldn't stand the thought of him with someone else even though I knew I was the reason we had broken up.
He had caught me with my tongue down Flame's throat at some party that was thrown at the beginning of the year. Of course it was completely platonic and I was a little too wasted but it wasn't an excuse for the fact that Diego and I were kind of a thing at the time.
And after that whole ordeal, Diego blocked me on all accounts and then stopped talking to me completely. That was until one day, probably half a year later,we had crossed paths at the mall and he greeted me as though we were old acquaintances, since then, we never talked about what happened and I never got the chance to apologise.
I wanted him back.
So I decided that as soon as Diego notices how close I would be getting to Javadd, he'd want me back. It's that simple. I had seen the way he had looked at us the previous night as we interacted. Boys always seemed possessive upon realizing they had competition, it was textbook. Or, in that case, something I'd seen on a documentary I'd watched on Netflix once.
Javadd seemed right for the role, and of course it would be a little fun to make him think he had the effect on me he thought he did. I knew for a fact that I could never be with Javadd, we were too much alike in the sense that I used the same tactics he did to get people to fall for him. He may have had been better than me too. So I would enjoy playing around with something I knew I could never have.
I walked downstairs to the kitchen where I found a pair of fresh bagels with some cream cheese together with a steaming cup of coffee almost making me moan in delight.
Cassandra was nowhere around so I assumed she was still sleeping so I decided to just get going.

Walking into the school hallway, I spotted Bryson standing by my locker and then I approached him.
"Bryson," I said, opened my locker.
"Wassup?"
"Already can't wait for last period. You?" I held my books against my chest. I wasn't entirely sure if I could tell him about the whole Javadd-Diego thing."You won't believe who I smashed last night," he started.
"I don't even think I wanna know to be honest." I curled my lip in disgust.
"Well you just missed out on the best story ever," he shrugged.
"Nope, I doubt that very much." I said, as we walked to each of our classes.
