"Dakota my sweetness, I am home!" Cosmo's voice rang out, making me smile.
"I'm in the kitchen!" I called out. I heard his footsteps, and smiled when he finally made it to the kitchen. I gestured to the flowers I had on the counter. He furrowed his eyebrows in curiosity.
"What are these for?" He asked.
"I got you flowers!" I exclaimed. His eyes softened.
"Flowers? For me?" He asked softly, placing a hand on his chest.
"Yes,you silly goose," I giggled. He picked up the vase and examined it.

"No one's ever gotten me flowers before," Cosmo spoke gently as tears welled in his eyes. He set the vase down and gave me a tight hug.
"I love dahlias and rose's. Thank you." He placed a tender kiss on my lips, making us both grin.
