"Baby come here." Namjoon spoke quietly, opening his arms.
It was instinct. Taehyung just hurried over to him, crawling in his lap, and pressed his face to the elder mans neck. He wanted to cry. He wanted to sob. No words will ever explain how much he needed this. No words will ever explain how much he missed Namjoon.
Namjoon rubbed his back, whispering sweet nothings, and kissing the top of his head. He hated how small the boy was. He couldn't stand it. Hated it, actually.
After a few minutes, he gently pulled Taehyung away from his neck to he could see his face.
Dark circles under his eyes, and sunken in cheeks.
It only solidified his plan.
"Baby, you're gonna come live with me, Alright?"
Taehyung's eyes widened, "O-oh.. no I couldn't do that. I'd be a bother- I don't have a job to pay for rent, and-"
"Shut up."
Taehyung's mouth snapped shut.
"When have you ever been a bother to me? When? And who said anything about you having to pay rent? I already paid off my house in a year. I make that much money. Don't even worry about paying for anything. Besides, you need to get out of that house. You're going to die if you don't change something. When was the last time you ate?"
Taehyung didn't speak. He didn't know the answer.
Namjoon sighed, "I was afraid of that. Well, that settles it. We're gonna go stop by your parents' house and pick up your stuff, Okay?"
Taehyung was in slight shock, but he nodded anyways, his eyes wide. Namjoon almost seemed.. mad.
**
Taehyung gasped as he saw the house.
"You- you paid this off in a year?"
"Yes." Namjoon said, looking around proudly. It wasn't the biggest house, but it was bigger than both his childhood home and Taehyung's combined.
"Welcome to your new home, baby."
