Miles: The main Chapel is at the Administration Block... quite a long distance from here I believe. Let's just sit here and relax for a while. We haven't had any time to rest for a long shot... and we never know when sh*t hits the fan again... so let's enjoy when we can. (Miles took a deep breath and looked at Artemis) About your ankle... let me see, if I can do something. As an investigative journalist who has to report from war-zones and dangerous terrains, I had to learn a few tricks and hacks of physiotherapy to help myself in situations like this. So this should at least relieve the pain a bit if not heal it completely. (Miles hesitated for a moment and before looking into Artemis' eyes for reassurance, folded and pulled her jeans up to the knee, to reveal her bare ankle. He gently held her feet with one hand and with the other, massaged her ankle as lightly and efficiently as possible) Artemis, does that feel good?

Artemis: (She winched a bit when he began rubbing it, but soon softens her expression.) Yeah, it's feeling a lot better now. Thank you. (She looks down, noticing she's still wearing the dress.) I should put my shirt on and get out of this thing. It's gonna slow me down when running...

Miles: I wish I knew how to heal chopped fingers. Did you see this? (Miles showed his hands from where two of his fingers had been crudely chopped off) It hurts like hell and I don't know if I am going to get gangrene or die from this infection in a while but I don't have anything to sanitize or cover it with. Well, anyways, you're right... put on your shirt. That can slow down the running. If there is one thing that 'husband-of-the-year' can do well, is sewing a wedding dress... because I dare say, Artemis, you look good in this. (Miles smirked before adding,) You can change the dress, I am not looking... It's pitch black here, anyway, so...

Artemis: No...I didn't notice those...(Her mouth was gapped open when she saw his fingers and she was shocked completely, until he made a complainant about her being in the dress and she blushed but thanked the darkness that he couldn't see it. So she turned around in the vent, from Miles view and pulled down the dress and pulled the shirt over her head. She turned back to Miles and grabbed one of his hands, getting a better look.) Oh my God...you did that?

Miles: Long story short... After we split up around the Male Ward, I was chased by some maniacs. I heard someone's voice who seemed to sound helpful and lucid so I did what he told me. I went up the dumbwaiter and when I reached there, I realized it was just another psycho like Gluskin. I would say, Gluskin can still be manipulated if you have good wit but that Trager, man, he was intelligent. He strapped me onto a chair, cut my two fingers and went away to 'make some profit off that'. I took the chance and fled away. After a long saga of 'tom-and-jerry' games I finally could escape him. Trager got stuck between two floors of the elevator while trying to kill me. (Miles shivered a bit recalling that horrifying incident but calmed down after some time) So... Artemis, I will be resting for a while here. (Miles said before stretching his hands and laying down inside the vent) Feels like I haven't rested in days... feels like my whole body would break down. You could rest too if you want... the vent's narrow but at least we are away from those murderous maniacs! And to pass the time, maybe you could tell a thing about your life and I could tell something about myself too?

Artemis: Nah, I'm just gonna sit up. (She looked at the vents entrance and then back at Miles, who was laying in it. When he asked about talking about a thing in their lives, she took in a deep breath, then exhaled.) Well, ever since I was little, I wanted to help people. So I figured why not become a doctor or nurse. (She shook her head as she pulled her knees to her chest.) Look's like I got what I wanted...but it's not what I had in mind.

Miles: Oh dear... that's awful. But why Murkoff? Did you not go for an interview at other hospitals?

Artemis: I was. But Murkoff sent me a letter to come visit for an interview. And I still don't know why. (She looked over at Miles) And when I got here, Jeremy Blaire was the one who introduced me here and showed me this place. I saw Trager...I thought that man was sane but after and all hell broke loose...(She glared at the memory) He chased me down, claiming he wanted to cut off my arm for a profit...
