(Okay, so here is the first chapter to my OutLast OC's story. Hope you like it. It may suck, but who cares right? xD)
A yellow and black striped mustang pull's up to the gates of Mount Massive Asylum. The gates slowly open and the car drives right in next to the stand where the watch guard was at. A white haired woman rolls down the window and the guard holds out his hand asking "ID and Resignation please." The woman nods a bit before looking down in her little black purse and pulling them both out, handing it to the man. He examines it.
He hands her the ID back and she puts it in the black purse, soon hearing the man say "Artemis Campbell, huh? Wait. Aren't you suppose to be the girl here for the interview or something?" She looks back up at the guard with a confused look. "Yes. But how do you know that?" She blinks a few times before putting her hands back on the steering wheel. "Blaire as been talking all about you. Anyways, enjoy your stay." He walks back in the stand, pushing a button for the inner gates to open. "Weird." Artemis thought as she pulls in, making a turn on the circle like street as she parked her car in front of the building.
She steps out of the car and look's up at the huge building in front of her. She let out a whistle of amazement. "My, my. This place is rather big. Hopefully I don't get lost in there." She pulled out her phone and checked it. "100 percent charged. Good." She shuts the car door, before taking the keys out. She made her way to the staircase, but before she could open the front doors, she felt like she shouldn't be here. "Why do I feel like I shouldn't open this door? Nothing bad is gonna happen. I'm just...a little nervous? Yeah, nervous." She continued to ponder on the thought as someone opened the doors in front of her.
It was a man. He had his hair pulled back, short hair to be exact. He was wearing a blue tuxedo suit. Dark brown eyes. "Ah, Ms. Campbell. So glad you could make it. I was just coming out to greet you." He held out his hand for a handshake and she took it. "So, you Jeremy Blaire I assume?" She asked, smiling a bit as the handshake ended. "Yes I am." He opens the door and steps back inside.
"Your tour of the building begins now." He steps aside, holding the door open for her as she steps inside. Her light green orbs widened in amazement as she stared at the area in awe. "This place is beautiful." She thinks as she examines the area. The lights from the chandelier above were bright enough to shine the whole room. The floors, a light bronze color and you could almost see yourself in it. People in labs coats walked across the room to get to different work stations while talking to each other about the Variants or personal life.
There was a front desk and a man in a uniform sat at the chair who was talking on the phone while checking the cameras. "Alright, come along this way, Ms. Campbell." She heard Jeremy say and was snapped out of her thoughts and following him past the front desk and into the elevator. "How long as this place been around?" She asked as she looked at the elevators floor. "Oh, let's just say a very, very long time." Jeremy says as he puts his hands behind his back.
Artemis looked over at the button on the wall and looked at the biggest button that was red, a different color from the others. It said basement. "Hmm." She hummed as she reached over to press it, but Jeremy put's his hand in the way. "Nope. Can't go there...yet." "Why not?" She asked. He was silent, but tried his hardest to keep a smile on his face. "It's because...because..." He trailed off, making her more curios of what was going on in that basement. "Because?" "Because...Because we have some flooding problems from the sewers. And we wouldn't want to get wet on the first day now don't we?" "I suppose your right." She let's out a sigh as the tour continued on the 2nd floor.
(An hour later. Time skip in the game.)
After learning about the building, patients and staff members, Jeremy lead her into a small room that had a white table and white couch's. Practically the whole room was white and so was everything in it, except the magazines on the table. "So, how do you like this place so far, Ms. Campbell?" He asked as she sat on the one of the white couch's. "I like it. It's such a huge place though. I'm afraid I might get lost here." He giggled a bit, laughing at her own joke, while Blaire only chuckled a bit before his phone in his pocket started buzzing. "Excuse me for one moment please." He says as he answers. "Hello? Yeah, what is it?" Artemis tilts her head to the side a bit and scratched the back of her neck as she sits back up.
