Love Triangle

"Audrey! Wake up! You are late for school!" my mom shouted.

I streched out while yawning. I glanced at my alarm clock at my bedside table. The clock never works. I wondered why mom bought me a non-working alarm clock. Anyways, my name is Audrey Duncan. Well not anymore. My parents were divorced after some 'problems'. Now, I'm under my mom's custody. On the other hand, my elder sister Alicia Duncan is under my dad's custody.

After having a shower, I texted my bestfriend, Hailey.

AUdorable: coming?

haileyHEARTSbond: yup! r u ready?

I packed mybag and hung it over my shoulder. Going down the stairs, I smelt something horrible, as though something was burnt. Panicking, I fastened my steps down the steps. I gasped and stopped in my tracks when I saw my mom just actually COOK something. When mom cooks, it's either burnt, salty or too sweet or..you get what I meant. I tiptoed to the front door to escape from my mother's cooking.

"Audrey, where are you going? Aren't you eating any breakfast? I make omelette,"mom said trying to make me eat it.

I was at loss for words. I was nervous if I had said something that could hurt her feelings. I just acted as though I was having a stomachache. I was very impressed with myself for acting that good. Maybe, I could be an actress and win OSCARS!

"Honey, are you okay? You know what? Why dont't you just go to school?" mom said putting the plate down on the cabinet.

I waved my mom goodbye. Mom don't cook often. She don't work too. Dad is the one who supplies us. Eventhough they are separated, things still remained the same. Mom housewife, dad the supplier. I get out of the house with a sigh of relief.

Suddenly, something caught my attention. It was Tony aka skaterboy. He was my crush eversince the first year of high school. How I met him, it was romantic!! Well, first timers usually get bullied, so yeah it happens  to me. Then he came along, well he scared off those bullies and held out his hand to me. Well, actually I fell so he did that. That was the first time I held his hand. Back to reality, he was skating along the side walk.

I felt as though we were there alone. No people, no nuisance until 'HON!'

I turned and saw my bestfriend horning her car repeatedly. Really, she spoiled everything.
