"Hi Tony!" I said while smiling gleefully.
Tony did not even looked at me. He seems to be looking for someone else. I tried to capture his attention by waving my hand infront of his face. But, he wasn't even paying any attention to me.
"Hello? Urmm, who are you looking for?" I said.
Tony replied,"Oh, Audrey! I didn't see you there. Anyways, where's Hailey?"
I was feeling curious as to what he was referring to. He seems to be looking for Hailey who really,really hates him so BAD. I just walked away. My brain was still thinking about Tony's words. Why in the world would he ask for Hailey? Is he interested in Hailey?!!
"NO!!!!!" I shouted.
Everyone looked at me. It was Science. I bit my lip, again. I mean I think doing that is a habit to show that I'm embarrased or freaked out. Mrs Pickel, our Science teacher was staring at me.\
"Yes, that's correct. The answer is no. But, you do not have to shout it out," Mrs Pickel said while writing on the whiteboard.
I just smiled. That is so lucky. Suddenly, someone threw me a crumpled paper. I turned around and saw Alvin Mcdoodle,my best boy pal in Science class. He was motioning me to open the paper. I opened the note:
'Nice safe. I noticed you were dreaming away..'
Alvin.
I turned around at him and smiled. I mean, he is the nicest guy that have ever been to me.
"KRING!!" The school bell ring.
Atlast, break! I was so bored to death. Can't wait to see Hailey. As I went out the door, my name was being called. Alvin called me.
"Hey, you doing anything tomorrow?" Alvin asked me.
I replied,"Yeah, sleepover at Hailey's,"
He then immediately says bye to me. "Okay, that was awkward," I whispered to myself.
I was searching for Hailey when I saw her talking to Tony. Wait, TONY!!! I was so shocked. Thee guy whom I always wanted to talk to, talk to my best friend. She said she hates him. I didn't believe her! Hailey saw me, she was gasping.
