Rumble Winner (Drabble)

Just a small thing I wrote after Drew won.

Four men left and your husband was one of them. You watch on the edge of your seat as Drew eliminates Seth, you could tell he was feeling exhausted. A little while later and it was just down to Drew and Roman the two go at it and Drew gives Roman a hit. You smile when he sends you a wink and tosses Roman over the top rope.

"AND THE WINNER IS DREEEEEEW MCINTYERRRRR!!"

Jumping to your feet with the rest of the crowd you all cheer and shout for Drew who falls to his knees. This was a moment he had been working for since he came back to WWE and it was finally here. You take pictures and tear up as Drew looks up towards the ceiling hundreds of emotions crossing his face. When he stands as the fireworks explode the pride in your heart swells more.

This was all for him, all for your husband who deserved the world. After celebrating with the crowd more Drew slips from the ring walking over and hugging you tightly.

"I am so proud of you baby! You did it this is all for you."

You say in his ear as he sniffles into your neck mumbling his thanks for always supporting him, for always putting your faith in him. Pulling back slightly he kisses you softly then smiles scooping you up and over the barrier.

"Drew!"

You laugh hugging him tightly as he puts you on his back walking the ramp. You point at Drew then the WrestleMania sign as the crowd cheers. All breaking out into cheers for the man beneath you, the man who continued to prove that despite the odds he was deserving of this.

"I love you Drew."

You whisper in his ear as you kiss his cheek Drew smiles walking to his locker room thanking everyone who congratulated him on the way.

"I love you too baby thank you for believing in me. This one was all for you."
