"Ready for your match and segment against Apollo?"
"I'm always ready for a fight."
I grin at Joe tightening my boot strings to be sure they won't come off in the ring.
"Is there a lot of people out there?"
"Yeah, you should see the front row a lot of signs and quite a few Drew signs."
Joe chuckles fixing his hair as he watches Drew stand up grabbing his coat and pushing his hair back in its signature style.
"That's what I like hearing."
I smirk waving as I head from the room to make my way out to the gorilla I was being joined by Elias he would play while I stood in the corner listening to him talk shit about everyone. Apollo would come out and the match would start.
When we finally begin the segment I stand in the corner while Elias does a little number my eyes glancing over the crowd. I practically do a double-take when I spot the last person on earth I ever expected to see again. Y/n Y/ln, she smiles up when our eyes meeting giving me a little wave sending her a smile I continue doing my bit trying to keep from staring at her. When Apollo comes out talking about being tired of Elias I send her a wink this was the first time she'd be watching me wrestle since I left home for WWE. I knew I had to win this one I didn't want her first match to be one that I lost. With the match underway I couldn't help but continue glancing over at her she was just as beautiful as I remember if not more so. As we fight around the ring I get Apollo's attention making sure my mouth is covered.
"Man I need to win this one."
"For?"
Tossing him towards her side I pin him to the ropes bending him in half Y/n smiles watching us.
"The lady in the blue shirt is an old friend."
Letting him go Apollo sends me a wink nodding his head clotheslining him I stomp him with my boot. He manages to crawl into a corner when he comes running I give him a Claymore watching as he drops. Getting the pin I grin holding my hand up with the ref sending her a smile I look around before climbing out and going up the ramp to a security guard backstage.
"See that woman in the front row (y/h/c) and blue shirt?"
"Yes, sir I do."
"Bring her to my dressing room after the show is over she's an old friend and I would like to see her again."
"Okay will do."
Clasping his back I head backstage to get a shower Apollo grins following behind me.
"So who is she?"
"A girl I was seeing we had been very good friends growing up we ended up seeing each other for a couple of months then I got signed to wrestle. I had to leave home and she wasn't able to come with me so I had to let her go. It messed me up for a while but I needed to get my head clear to build myself up to be the best I could. So I pushed everything from back home to the back burner and continued on by the time I got big I figured it would be best to let her live her life so I did."
"Wow well, I hope that everything works out for you man, and by the way, you owe me lunch next stop."
He says patting my shoulder heading down the hall I chuckle agreeing as I step into my changing room for a shower. When I come out drying my hair a knock on my door has me walking over I take a deep breath then pull it open.
