After his retirement in 2016, Kobe spent more time together with his family, and even though he is not playing a competitive basketball anymore, he did not fully separate himself from the game. I get updates of him on his Instagram account and I've seen some news about him in some basketball related pages in social media.
It's good to know that he is still active in basketball in terms of working out with active NBA players, coaching some kids, and serving as a global ambassador during the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
His life after retirement gives us the inspiration that we don't need to step away from the things that we loved to do as Kobe loved the game of basketball.
