A/N:
Thanks to a person who recently commented/voted on all the chapters,  I caught enough motivation to update.
Also, this is still a gender neutral Reader Insert. So you're not rooming with Nya due to separating Boys/Girls, but rather because the Ninja's room is so full. Just to keep the neutrality going 🤗

Later that night, after an eventful dinner of laughing and joking around as I got to know everybody, Nya showed me to my room. And, to my surprise, it was also her room.
Wu- I mean, sensei Wu- had already told me that I wouldn't be in a room with the ninja because their room wa as already beyond full. I had hoped that meant I would finally have a room to myself. But, I hadn't taken Nya into account. She wasn't a ninja.

Shit.

Yay, a roommate. I thought sarcastically. Totally didn't get enough of having one of those at college, huh?

"I can see you look a bit dissapointed. If it's about sharing a room, then cheer up, because the boys are all in one!" she said with a small laugh, grinning over at me.

At that, I cracked a smile and laughed a soft laugh in return. "I guess we got the good end of the deal then, huh? But I'm sorry you have to give up rooming alone," I said sheepishly, awkwardly rubbing the back of my neck as I looked to the side.

Nya gave a small laugh, playfully throwing her arm around my shoulder. "I'm more than happy to share my room- it's our room now, and I'm kinda happy to have a roomie. The guys all have one another, and it seems like fun. I get kinda bored here all to myself all the time. especially since they get to go train and fight. I don't have all that, ya know?"

I smiled sympathetically, giving a soft nod. "I understand feeling alone. But we have one another now!" I said and grinned, my spirits lifted by Nya's friendliness towards me.

At that, finding peace and friendship among one another, Nya began to help me unpack and make my bed.

After a bit, Nya smiled over at me as she helped put sheets on my bed as I unpacked things into my dresser drawers.
"Green sheets, eh? Lloyd would like these," she said with a soft chuckle, smiling over at me. "Favorite color?"

I shrugged a bit, smiling softly over at her. "School colors are green and silver." I said, giving a small shrug as I packed the last of my things into the dresser, kicking the suitcase under the bed.
Though, green just might be my favorite color now. Lloyd sure looked good in it. And it was, of course, easier for me to blame it on the color he wore than on Lloyd himself.

"Ah. A shame. Lloyd would have liked that," She said, nudging me playfully. Giving a small huff, I rolled my eyes at her and gave her a soft shove.

"Hey, it's not like that at all! Not now, not ever! I just met him!" I said, cheeks flushing a bit as I huffed and hopped onto my bed beside her.

"Uh-hu, sure." She said, grinning and rolling her eyes. "I'll go get changed in the hallway bathroom if you wanna change in our bathroom," she said and grabbed her pajamas, still looking overly smug.

After that, she left to change, as I changed in our bathroom.

She was totally wrong, by the way. Lloyd and I had nothing going at all!
It wasn't like I found him immediately charming and funny or anything. It wasn't that he helped me feel at home in a new place.
He was just nice. Funny.

Or maybe I was just trying to convince myself of that. I was totally lying to myself.

Groaning, I laid down and pulled my cover over my head.

How in the world, I thought, did I fall for Lloyd Garmadon, of all people, in a day? Help.

It was gonna be a long day tomorrow. Couldn't wait for 6 am morning furnace. Woo, fun.

A/N:
Sorry for updates not being frequent. If you want something to read while you wait, though, I have a Cole book and a one shots book!
Sorry for a short chapter! I wanted to get this talk with Nya in, but if I added the next day it woulda been way too long.
