Ciara's POV:

"I'm home!" I shouted once I entered the house. "Hi honey!" my mother Freya called back. I dumped my horse riding equipment on the floor and walked into the kitchen. "Hi dear, how was work today?" my mother asked. "Good" I said. "The kids were doing great today" "I'm glad to hear that darling."

I grapped a donut that was on the table and plumped down on a chair. "Don't you have to work today?" I asked "I'm on nightshift" my mom answered. My mother is a nurse in the Amber Beach hospital and has to work at night a few times a week.

"Jeez did something die in here" my 15 year old brother Chris said while walking into the kitchen. "Yeah your sence of humor" I said back. Chris is my little brother and sometimes a real pain in my eye. But even though we fight now and then, he is still my best friend and we have a very close bond.

"Alright you got that one big sis" Chris said smiling. " I know" I said with a smirk on my face. Our mother walked out of kitchen with a smile on her face. Chris checked if she was far enough and then closed the door. "So I found this cave today, wanna check it out?" he asked. "Yeah duhh" I said. Chris and I would often go out and explore places like an abanded house or a cave.

"When are we going?" I asked. "Well it's saturday tomorrow so I don't have school" "do you need to work?" "Nope, I only have to ride Lighting but that's in the evening." "Great, then we will go tomorrow in the morning." Chris said. "Sounds like a plan" I said smiling.

The next morning Chris and I were getting ready to leave when we heard a familiar voice calling. "Morning children, going out already?" our father Thomas asked. Our dad is a firefighter and just got home from a nightshift. "Yep" Chris said easily. "So where are you going?" our dad asked. "Oh we are just going for a run in the forest." I said. "Okay have fun" dad said. "Thanks dad!" Chris and I said at the same time.

Our father walked up the stairs to his bedroom to take some sleep and Chris and I got our stuff ready. "Luckily he didn't ask many questions" I said. "Yeah" Chris said. We never told our parents about our secret adventures as they would say that it was far to dangerous.

"Come on let's go" I said. "  You got it" Chris said smiling. And with that my brother and I left the house ready for another adventure. But little did we know that this trip was about to get a lot more interesting than we thought.
