Thunder roared outside the window as the rain clattered against the glass. Harry woke up suddenly, looking about his surroundings before realising he was in his dormitory in the Gryffindor Tower. He carefully reached for his wand that was under his pillow as he stood up trying not to make a sound.

Harry recollected his thoughts about his dream. They were like the wind outside, too fast to process. He slowly put on his Gryffindor robes before realising the time was 2:27. He sighed quietly as he put on his shoes.

Minerva McGonagall was in her office marking some of her 5th year students' work. There was a quiet knock on the door.

"Come in." Minerva said as she looked up, surprised to see Harry walk into her office at that time.

"I'm sorry to invade, Professor." Harry spoke as he walked over to the older woman's desk.

"Sit down Potter." Minerva spoke calmly as she motioned to the comfortable chair. "Is something troubling you?" She asked just like a mother.

Harry sat down. The only reason why he would go to McGonagall was because she was the only motherly figure he had, even his cruel Aunt Petunia wouldn't be so nice to him. Harry didn't want to go to Dumbledore either because he would have just given him more riddles to figure out. Before Harry realised, he has told his Professor about how he had dreamt about Voldemort again.

Minerva listened intently. "Would you like some tea, Harry?" She asked smiling at the boy.

"Uh, yes please Professor." Harry said confused and intrigued at the woman. Minerva stood up and made some tea for the both of them.

As they were both drinking the tea, Harry began to grow sleepy again as he sat in the chair. They were both discussing various things, from Hogwarts to how Aunt Petunia treated Harry. Soon enough Harry fell asleep and Minerva smiled gently at the sleeping boy knowing he had a rough night. She stood up and levitated the sleeping boy back to his dormitory soundlessly. As Minerva was leaving Harry's dormitory she realised how much she pitied the fragile boy who was one day meant to save the world with his bare hands.
