Roman knew. How could he not? He hears the annoyed sighs when he's to extra for Logan. He hears the change in voice from Patton when he's playfully insulting Virgil, and......h-he hears the forceful edge to Virgil's words when he's complimenting Roman after a bad battle with self worth.

He knows they hate him.

So why does he even stay?

They don't want them, there's a million reasons they don't need him.

He's annoying, he's a nuisance, and all he does is hurt them.

So why can he just leave? Leave and never come back?

That's right.

Because it would be copying Virgil.

Why would he duck because for such stupid reasons? How hypocritical would it be to duck out when he was the cause of Virgil doing it?

Hah, what a god forsaken failure.

Can't stay but can't go either.

Unneeded and unwanted, but can't even feel that way because he made someone else feel that way.

They can do his job without him. It's been done before.

Who needs broken creativity? At least Remus can be original.

Man, Roman wishes it was still only the king.

The king that could make anyone smile, the king that made d*ck jokes subtly and make people laugh. The king that knew everyone had self worth and  importance and didn't make such an important aspect duck out.

The king that was way better than who he is now.

He still has that kings golden hairbrush.

A relic of a time when Roman was better.

A relic of a time when he could do his job properly.

A relic of a time he wasn't rude.

A relic of the time he was whole.

But now, now Romans an empty shell.

A hollow, unimportant, small shell.

'A shell that makes a pretty great boyfriend'
