"Miss Y/N, do you want to share that with the class?" Mr. Choi glared at me and walked over slowly.
"Um, no. I'm ok thanks," I mumbled, slipping the note into my sleeve.
Mr. Choi arched an eyebrow. "Hmm. I thought you were passing notes to Hoseok here." Mr. Choi waved a hand in Hoseok's general direction.
I stared at my teacher innocently. "Why would I do such a thing? I'm your star student! I have to get good grades by paying attention!" Before much else could be said, the school bell chimed, announcing our release from class and, since it was the last period, school.
Mr. Choi gave me a stern look. "I'll let this one go for now. But if I ever catch you passing notes to Hoseok again, you will be punished. You may go." I sighed in relief, packing my books into my already overstuffed backpack. I walked out and immediately punched Hoseok in the shoulder.
"You almost got me in trouble!" I whined.
Hoseok laughed. "You did that to yourself! Come on, let's go to my place. Gramma won't mind, right?" I shook my head.
Ever since I was five, I've had to live with my grandma. My parents used to be really close to each other, and loved making friends. They befriended Hoseok's parents, which led to Hoseok and I becoming best friends. One day, however, my dad came home from work drunk and raving mad. He argued with my mother for awhile before he finally snapped and hit her on the temple with a bottle, killing her. I was forced to call the police and stutter my way through the information while hiding in the bathroom.
My dad was taken to spend a considerable amount of time in prison. I'd been left alone, so my gramma came over and has lived with me for twelve years. Hoseok's family has always been there to help me through the tough times. They had pretty much become my second family.
"Hey, earth to Space Cadet. We're here."
I blinked and realized that I had been staring at the ground letting Hoseok guide me the entire walk to his house. "What? Oh, yeah. We're here. Cool."
Hoseok's face betrayed his worry. "Yup. Just said that. Anyway, Mom texted me. She made some cookies!" I followed him into his house and made a mad dash for the plate of cookies resting on the counter. Once we settled on the couch, me contentedly eating cookies, Hoseok became serious.
"Did you read the note I sent you? How do you feel?
I groaned. " Hobi, I'm sure it's nothing. I mean, why would he choose me out of all the other girls in the class? I don't even know if I'm his type!"
By "he" I meant the class heartthrob, Min Yoongi. He's extremely attractive, which was why almost all the girls in the class flock to him whenever he's in a classroom. I mainly stayed with my friends, Jeon Jungkook, Park Jimin, and Kim Taehyung, who aren't half bad looking themselves.
I decided to change the subject. "Enough about Yoongi, how are you faring with Rose?" I teased. Rose was a long-time crush of Hoseok's.
Hoseok reddened and munched on a cookie shyly. "About the same. Come on, you changed the subject again! Every time I bring up Yoongi, you change it to me and Rose! Not fair, (Your nickname)."
I laughed. "Yeah, I know. Ok, here's how I see it. He looks at me a lot. So what? He could be glaring at me or something for all you know."
Hoseok shook his head. "No, I don't think that's it. He never looks angry."
I squinted at him suspiciously. "And just how would you know that unless you were looking at Yoongi a lot? That's pretty weird Hobi." I tried to stay serious, but I couldn't keep my smile from appearing.
"Yah! I only look at him to see if he's looking at you!" He shoved me over on the couch.
"Ok, ok. Fine! You know what, I'll talk to him tomorrow and prove that he doesn't like me. That way you can stop bugging me about it every day."
Hoseok grinned, apparently pleased. "Oh really? Well then, I can't wait!"

Hi! This is my very first time on Wattpad, and I can't say I'm not nervous! I hope you guys like this as much as I like writing it! If you are confused by anything or see grammar issues, feel free to tell me and I'll change them! I'll be uploading as frequently as I can, but school might get in the way. :(
Also, none of the pictures belong to me. I hope you all have a good day/night!
