"When are you planning on asking him?" Jimin asked, poking me in the arm with his pencil. Somehow, all three of my other friends had caught word of my plan. I had interrogated Hoseok, but he denied ever telling them.

"Whenever I feel like it," I replied, smacking his pencil away lightly.

"Ooo! Y/N's getting sassy!" Jungkook crowed. I sighed and shook my head as the boys talked about how much sass I had.

To stop the constant back-and-forth banter between the boys, I said the first thing I could think of. "You know what you guys, I'll go talk to Yoongi now!" As soon as the words left my mouth, I cursed myself and wished I had thought of something witty to say instead.

My friends all stared at me slack-jawed. Tae started to laugh. "Go Y/N go! He's right over there! We'll be cheering you on from here." Without any more words of encouragement, he pushed me in Yoongi's general direction.

"Gee, thanks," I muttered under my breath.

I walked over to Yoongi hesitantly. He was leaning against his locker, writing in a notebook. As I got closer, he looked at me, and I wanted to turn back to my friends. If he noticed me acting awkward, though, he didn't say anything.

"Um, hey Yoongi. What's up?" I asked. One of my friends snickered behind me, and I wanted to kill them.

Yoongi tilted his head and looked at me for a second before responding. "Nothing really. I'm just getting ready for class."

"Ahh. What class do you have next?"

"The same class as you... remember? Are you ok? You look pale."

I felt my cheeks heat up. "I-I'm totally fi-"

"YOONGI?!" A shrill voice stopped me from finishing my sentence. I whipped around, wanting to hug the person who saved me from myself.

"Oh, hi Seulbi," Yoongi greeted the girl. I rolled my eyes. I guess I wouldn't be hugging anyone. Seulbi never really liked me. For what reason, I had no idea. She always fawned over Yoongi and tried to get his attention whenever he was close to her.

She glared at me before returning her attention to Yoongi. "Don't you have other things to do besides talk in the halls with her?" She gestured in my direction with as much disdain as she could.

Yoongi grabbed his backpack from off the ground. "Yeah, we should probably get to class. See you there." He walked off, and I wanted to laugh. Seulbi had obviously wanted his attention, but he had totally dismissed her.

Seulbi spun around to face me. "I don't get why he spends so much time with you! You're not that great, not that smart, and definitely not as pretty as me."

I blinked. "Um, ok. I think I can live with that. And um, he doesn't hang out with me much. Just, you know, for your information."

With that, I quickly made my way back to my friends.

"Well, now I think I'm on her bad side, if I was ever NOT on it. Can you believe she thought I was hanging out with Yoongi all the time? We almost never talk! Seriously, the most he's said to me before that exchange was, 'whoops, sorry,' if he bumped into me or, 'hi'."

"Did you even ask Yoongi anything?" Jimin asked, leaning against the lockers.

"Weren't you listening?"

"I got distracted."

"Oh. Well, if you were listening, you would have heard me not have time to say anything. It's probably better off that way anyway. What if I made things even more awkward than they already are? I think I'm good chilling with you weirdos."

Jungkook made a fake affronted look. "I don't consider myself to be a weirdo. I think I'm one of the best things to grace this planet."

I snorted and rolled my eyes. "Say what you want, I don't believe you. Anyway, we should head to class. I'm not sure about you guys, but I'm already prepared for class, and class starts in two minutes..." I trailed off, letting the boys react how they wished.

All of their eyes widened and they ran off to their lockers. I snickered and walked to class. When I arrived, Seulbi was giving me a death glare and Yoongi was just... staring at me.

"Maybe... Maybe Hoseok is right? No! It means nothing! He's probably just confused about the hallway talk or... something."

I took my usual seat, two spots in front of Yoongi, to the right of Jimin and to the left of Hoseok. I could still feel eyes on the back of my head, but I didn't know if they were Seulbi's or Yoongi's.

Fortunately, Hoseok came and distracted me from the feeling. Class went fairly well after that. I didn't get caught passing notes to Hoseok, even though at one point, the note slipped out of my hand and fell to the floor. I managed to finish my work in class and, best of all, Seulbi didn't try to start anything.

Hello! I'm back again! This chapter was actually supposed to be longer, but I decided to break it into two separate parts, because it would have been twice this length if I had kept going. Once again, if anything is confusing, or if there are any grammar errors, feel free to tell me and I'll fix them.

I hope you guys enjoyed, and I wish you all a good day/night!
