I was refreshed and ready to go in the morning. I had texted Yoongi at six o' clock to remind him where I usually hang out with my friends because, despite being together for a week, he still forgot from time to time. When I arrived at school and got to my locker, I found all my usual friends plus Yoongi, Seokjin, and my other friend Namjoon, waiting.

"Good morning (Your nickname)!" Jimin said in a singsong voice, ruffling my hair. "We were just making sure your new boyfriend didn't start looking for you before you got here."

Yoongi shrugged, a crooked grin on his face. Tae nudged me. "Hey, why didn't you say you guys were going to play basketball last week? I would have joined your team so we could fail together!"

I laughed. "Sorry about that! I honestly didn't know we were going to play ei-"

"There you are Yoongi!" Seulbi's voice broke into our conversation. She glared at me before turning to Yoongi. "I got some info on what we're doing in chemistry today. We have to split into pairs, and I was wondering if you would be my partner?" She bit her lip flirtatiously, and I rolled my eyes at her theatrics.

I was thinking about saying something offensive, but Jungkook elbowed me in the stomach before I could speak.

"I mean, I guess so Seulbi. I was already thinking about someone to pair up with though..." His eyes flicked to me for a brief second, and Seulbi caught on.

"What do you mean? Nobody knew about the project!" That was a total lie. We had all learned of it three days ago. "Besides, I was thinking we could talk about... things while we work. It's kind of personal."

Was this girl blind? Deaf? Could she really not tell that Yoongi didn't want to partner up with her, or was she just persistent? And what kind of "things" did she want to talk about? I glanced at Yoongi curiously.

He sighed. "Alright Seulbi, I'll be your partner. Sorry Y/N." I nodded, approving the situation.

"It's fine. I'll partner with Hoseok." To show Seulbi that I wasn't miffed, I linked arms with Hoseok and started walking down the hall to the chemistry lab with him.

Hoseok and I arrived in the lab and claimed a table close to the window, so if we became distracted, we could always look outside. As it turned out, we got distracted a lot.

Chemistry came and went, and Seulbi didn't seem to make too much of a fuss, so Yoongi, Hoseok and I couldn't complain. Towards the end, however, she kept sending me dagger-filled looks and stared at Hoseok more than I was comfortable with. I tried to ignore it, but it became more difficult the more she looked at Hoseok.

"Well that was a letdown of an experiment, huh guys?" Jimin said after class was over, yawning. He lazily threw an arm across my shoulders. Yoongi eyed him suspiciously and I gave him a reassuring look. Jimin was a perpetual flirt, no matter what.

I think I'm gonna agree with you on that. We didn't even blow anything up!" I pouted.

Jungkook snorted. "Y/N's logic: if you don't blow anything up, it's boring." We all broke out laughing as we made our way to the cafeteria. Yoongi would be sitting with us.

"So, what are you going to do after school?" Yoongi asked, resting his face on his hand and staring at me.

I tilted my head as I usually do when I'm thinking and shrugged. "I don't really know. I didn't have any plans, but if you did, I would be happy to be a part of them."

Yoongi grinned. "Well aren't you smart. I was actually wondering if you wanted to meet my parents, or if it's too soon? I told my mom about you, and she invited you over today just randomly. She made me clean the house. Twice."

I laughed a little too loudly, and the other boys stopped their conversation and looked at me. I waved awkwardly and the boys smiled and resumed talking. "That's fine by me! I'll meet your parents! It would be a shame for all your hard work to go waste. I appreciate the effort though. I'm a germaphobe. Oh, not that your house is dirty or anything!"

Yoongi blinked, surprised. "It's ok. You are, are you?"

Yeah, now don't get any ideas, Buddy!" I said, giving him a mock evil-eye. "Hey wait! I want to know what Seulbi talked to you about in chemistry! So tell!"

Yoongi shifted uncomfortably. "Oh you know, she just flirted I guess..." His eyes wandered across the lunchroom to land on Seulbi, who was talking loudly with her friends.

"Are you sure that's everything Yoongi?" I asked slowly, not wanting to sound too pushy.

Yoongi's attention snapped back to me. "Yeah. That's it." I wasn't convinced, and I could tell he was aware of my distrust, but he refused to bring the topic up again. Instead, we tuned in to the boys' conversation, avoiding eye contact with each other.

Hi! I hope this story isn't too boring. I'm basing it off what I think a typical school day might go at a public school (I'm in a REEEEEALLY small private school.) I hope I'm getting the classes and other stuff  accurate. If there's anything that's wrong, confusing, or needs correcting, please tell me!

Hope you have a good day/night once more!
