A/N: This takes place at the end of the school day from last chapter. Ok, that's all!

I packed up my backpack with the homework I had, and shut my locker. I was getting ready to meet up with Tae, Jungkook, Jimin, and Hoseok outside the main doors when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see a shy Yoongi standing there.
"Oh hi Yoongi. What's up?" I asked nonchalantly, trying to keep my breathing level.
Yoongi brushed his hair out of his eyes and looked at the floor. "Hey. Um, are you doing anything today?"
I was planning on crashing at Hoseok's and eating all the cookies, but I supposed it could wait. "Not really. Why?"
Yoongi managed to look even more shy than he did before. "I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out?"
I kept calm on the outside, but on the inside, I was screaming. OH MY GOSH, HOSEOK MIGHT BE RIGHT! "Um yeah! I'll just tell my friends I can't walk them home today. They'll understand."
Yoongi nodded. "Ok. I'll be waiting right here for you."
I ran out of the school's main doors and spotted my group of friends, who were joined by Kim Seokjin, a relaxed, somewhat protective classmate who hangs out with us occasionally.
"HOSEOK YOU GENIUS YOU MIGHT BE RIGHT!" I yelled, barreling into Tae in the process.
"Right about what?" Hoseok asked. Immediately after, I saw understanding flash in his eyes, and he grinned. "Ooo! Really? How do you know?"
I patted Tae's shoulder and righted myself before answering. "He just asked me to hang out with him. I am kind of freaking out right now! I don't know how I should act. The only guy friends I have are all of you and Namjoon, and you have all elevated to brother status for me, so I've never had to change!"
Jin looked at me as if I was crazy. "Woah. You need to calm down. Just be yourself! That's what he might be attracted to after all. Just don't panic and act natural."
"Wow. Ok. Thanks Jin! I'll take your advice to heart!" With that, I spun around and ran back to where I'd left Yoongi.
He was leaning against the lockers using his phone. "Hi! Sorry, it took the boys awhile to get over me deserting them for now." I lied. There was no way I was going to admit to getting advice about him!
Yoongi shoved his phone in his back pocket and slung his weirdly full backpack over a shoulder. "It's fine. What do you want to do?"
"Wha- I thought you had a plan!" I exclaimed, dumbfounded. Who attempted something without a plan?
He laughed nervously. "I didn't actually think this far ahead. I doubted you would want to hang out, considering you're so popular.
If I had a drink in my mouth, I would have spit it all out. "Popular? What makes you think I'm popular?"
"Well, don't you always have friends around you? You're never alone during the day." I considered telling him that those were some of the only people who ever hung with me, but decided against it.
"Ok, but what about you? So many people want to hang out with you! You're super popular!"
Yoongi didn't respond right away, instead blushing. "They're not the people I like to hang out with though. Anyway, wanna play basketball?"
I blinked, startled by the sudden change of topic. "Sure! Wait, I thought you didn't have a plan!" I eyed him mock-suspiciously.
He thought for a moment. "I guess I did after all. But it was just a backup plan if you didn't want to go out. I was going to play anyway, I just-"
Hey, I get it. Let's go!" I interrupted, hoping to save him from further embarrassment. "Just so you know, I've never really played basketball before. I've only shot hoops."
"Ahh. That's fine." Yoongi replied. We started walking to the courts in silence. It was fairly awkward, but I embraced it, as I tended to be awkward in general. Once we arrived, Yoongi unzipped his backpack and grabbed a basketball from out of it. So that's why his bag was so full!
We played ball until we were both hot and sweaty, but content. I flopped down on the court's rubbery green surface next to Yoongi. His face looked extremely flushed, but I assumed it was from the activity.
I punched his shoulder playfully. "Thanks for letting me win one round."
He shrugged and smiled shyly. "I figured you would stop playing if I beat you every time."
I laughed. His face turned an even deeper shade of red, and he stared at his hands. "Um, are you ok Yoongi?"
He shifted around so he could look at me without turning his head and met my eyes. "I'm fine, thanks. The uh... The actual reason I, well... I- ok. It's like this..."
"Spit it out man. "I teased.
"I really like you!" he blurted. He blushed beet red and and brushed his hair out of his eyes nervously. I was in shock...

Haha! Yup! Cliffhanger! Sorry I got this chapter out late, I had to deal with school and other personal stuff.
I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! I'm really bad at writing romantic stuff (in my opinion) so I'm sorry if this upcoming chapter isn't as good. Also, sorry if you actually play basketball. You just... forgot how to play for this chapter! Yeah.
Once again, if you see any grammar or spelling errors, or if sentences or other things don't make sense, feel free to tell me and I'll change them. I hope you all have a good day/night!
