Meoooooww.
Felix sighed, "Sylvain, if you're trying to trick me again I swear I'm gonna beat you..."
Right as he finished that sentence, he felt something nuzzle against his leg. Looking down, Felix realized there was a cat. He crouched down to pet the cat before another one came. Felix smiled softly as his hand reached contact with the first white cat's soft fur.
The orange tabby cat meowed for attention, another one also chiming in. He smiled a bit more. Oh so thankfully for Felix though, he was basically in a secluded area - which is quite rare despite the fact that literally every square inch of the whole palace (or whatever it's called) is covered with people. But little did he know, someone had started watching him at that moment.
=== PoV Change ===
Sylvain blushed lightly as he watched the young male continue petting the cats, giggling every once in a while. He couldn't help but watch as Felix enjoyed his time with the cats. A lower mew came from the side, clearly grabbing Felix's attention.
Sylvain - despite the position he was in - practically saw stars form in Felix's eyes.... Very rare, yet adorable. Felix pet the black cat, along with the others at times. Sylvain decided that it was time to chime in and bring attention upon himself.
He silently stepped towards Felix, creeping behind him, the cats somehow not noticing him. Sylvain lightly put his hand on the raven haired boy's shoulder, obviously startling him as a soft gasp escaped through Felix's lips.
All the cats except the black cat scurried away to hide in the shadows.
"Wha- How long have you been there.!?" a pastel pink ran across Felix's soft, pale face.
Sylvain only hummed in response, completely ignoring Felix's question.
"I didn't know you had a soft side.~" Sylvain cooed.
=== PoV Change ===
Felix felt his face heat up even more. He looked down, obviously embarrassed.
"Awww... Why so nervous? It's cute!"
"E-Eh!?"
Sylvain chuckled as a response. Felix slightly growled, attempting to be aggressive but failing miserably as his blushing got the best of him.
"So, how come you like cats more than people Fe?"
"Well, first off... Don't call me 'Fe.' It's annoying. Secondly, cats are just better than people by default." Felix shot a supposedly scary glare towards Sylvain.
"So cats are better than moi!?" Sylvain pouted.
Felix rolled his eyes, basically pulling Sylvain down to pet him on the head. Both of the males blushed, Sylvain blushing darker than Felix though.
"If this won't get you to shut up, then I don't know what will." Felix sighed lightly.
=== PoV Change ===
The usually energetic and annoying male had stayed silent for once. Felix smiled softly as his mind started to wander.
"What'cha thinking of?" Sylvain butted into Felix's thoughts.
"N-Nothing..!" the smaller of the two flinched.
The dancing colors of cherry blossoms and roses covered Felix's usually pale face. Sylvain smiled slyly, deciding that now would be a good take an advantage of Felix's surprised state.
The ginger slowly sat up and pecked the raven haired boy's cheek. The small male blushed quite brightly.
"Wha.... What the heck was that!?"
"It was a kiss." Sylvain cooed.
Felix looked down in his lap, finally sitting down on the floor alongside Sylvain. The latter slightly frowned, wondering if he had messed up.
Felix had looked up at Sylvain with a stern yet soft face, and as if in one movement the young man had pecked the ginger's lips before retreating to his previous form. Now it was Sylvain's turn to be flustered, before he had began to grin like an idiot.
"Love you too Fe."
"I think cats are still better."
"Sure you do."
"Sh-Shut up Sylvain!"
