Rey & Ben: Their Story Continues

Introduction

Rey has just defeated palpatine. She knew her time was about to be up. She felt weak, powerless. Now that Ben was gone, there was nothing left for her. So she let go. She released her soul.

Ben crawled up from the huge hole in the ground that palpatine pushed him into, trying to End his life. He looked up and saw Rey laying on the floor. Not moving. Not breathing. In a panic, he limped his way over to her and held on to her. He used every bit of power he had left to bring her back, hoping she will live a better life now that the first order is gone forever. He gently placed his hand on her lifeless body and let the last bit of life he had In himself go into Reys body. She awoke from death. She looked right into Bens eyes and smiled.

"Ben?" She whispered as she caressed his face.

Ben smiles at her, looks deep into her eyes, and they kiss. Once they pulled away, Ben gives Rey one last smile, before his soul leaves his body and vanished forever.

He didn't die as Kylo Ren. He died as Ben Solo.

Rey sat there feeling defeated. She didn't want to live without ben. Ben deserved another chance. She sat alone in a cold dark place. Looking over at where bens body disappeared, she grabbed his shirt and held onto it. With tears slowly rolling down her cheeks, she got up and walked away.

"I'm so sorry ben." She whispers.

"You should have left me dead.... You deserved a better life."

Walking out of the remains of Palpatines palace on Exegol, Rey hears something move. She turns around to see what it could be but nothing was there. She continued on to her x-wing ship but was stopped at the sound of someone's voice calling out to her.

"Rey." Someone calls out. Rey turns around and see's the force ghost of Luke standing there.

"Master Luke... I'm lost on what to do now." She cries out.

"Don't feel lost Rey. Your new life is only at the beginning. Don't leave anything behind." Luke softly tells her. She looked at him a little confused.

"Master Luke, what do you mean?" She questions him. He gives her a slight smile and motions for her to look behind her before fading away. When Rey turns around, she saw someone she thought she would never see again.

"Ben! You're alive!" She shouts as she runs into his arms.

"I'm alive because of your love." He whispers in her ear as he holds on to her tightly.

As Ben and Rey hold onto each other, Luke and Leia's Force ghosts appears and they look at each other.

"Their story is just beginning."
