Sleepover

 
Catherine's POV:
   I run to Ron's car. He has a silver 2014 Toyota Tacoma pick up truck, that's parked in front of the drive way. I open the right back passenger door.
Sue greets me."Hey Cat, I have a surprise for you, when we get to my room!"
I giggle, and mock her tone."Hey Sue, I have a surprise for you too!.. Hehe that rhymed."
She gives me the really look. "Cute."
I put the duffel bag in the seat, and she slides it in the middle. I hop in the truck, and close the door. Ron locks the doors back. I take my purse off, putting it in the middle seat, on top of my duffel bag, and buckle up.
Sue looks at me confused. "So why do you have a surprise for me? It's your birthday, not mine."
I giggle. "Because you're my best friend."
She giggles. "Alright, but I want to give you mine first."
I smile "Okay."
Because I know Sue will scream in excitement, I decide it will be a good idea wait to show her the VIP passes when we get into her room. That way she doesn't make Ron go deaf.

   Once we're parked in her drive way. She grabs my duffle bag before I could get it, so just carry my purse, and we run in to her bed room.
   Sue's house is a three bed room ranch house, with a basement. Her bed room, reminds me of my old bedroom. It's big, and has a bathroom that connects to her brother's room. Her bed room walls are painted light pink, that you can barely see because she has posters of One Direction, Jonas Brothers, The All American Rejects, and Fall Out Boy almost covering the walls. Mostly posters of One Direction, her favorite band member and crush is Liam Payne.
Her bedroom floors are wooden with pink, and purple pompom rugs. She has purple eclipse curtains that cover her window, and tye dye bean bag chairs in the corner next to her window. She has a desk that has a mirror on it, and it sits on the wall next to her closet. She mainly uses that desk for her to sit down, to do her hair, and make up. She has a dresser drawer that sits along the wall in front of her bed, next to her bathroom door. Onto op the dresser sits a DVD, and Blue ray player. And on the wall, above her dresser drawer sits her small plasma screen tv. Her day bed sits in the center of her bedroom against the wall.
I normally sleep on the pull out bed, under her's, but tonight we're sleeping in sleeping-bags to have the full out slumber party experience. 

   Sue throws my bag in a corner of her room.
I kick my shoes off, and sit down on her bed, making myself at home.
"So what's your surprise?"

"I can't tell, or it will ruin the surprise." She walks over to her desk.
I see her go through one of her drawers to pull out something. "Close your eyes, and hold out your hand."
I sigh in annoyance, just wanting to know the surprise already, but I do what she says. My eyes are close, and I hold out my hand. I feel her put the object in my hand, and it feels small.
Sue giggles."Okay, you can open them."
I open my eyes, and see a silver ring that has the infinity (lemniscate) symbol on it, and on top of the corner of the infinity symbol are two small blue and light green stones next to each other. next to it has the letter "S"&"C" in graved on it. On the inside of the ring are the words"Best Friends For Infinity and Beyond", in graved on the bottom of it. It was a beautiful ring, and looks expensive.
I was really surprised, and my mouth is hanging open. "Oh my gosh! It's so pretty."
"I have one just like it."Sue shows me her's, that she's already wearing on her finger.

I hug attack my best friend."Thank you so much! I love it!"
She hugs me back giggling." You're welcome. I knew you would love it. I know your birthday is tomorrow, but I couldn't wait another day. I had to give it to you."
I smile."This is the second best birthday present I ever got ..."
"Second?" She looks at me confused with puppy dog eyes. "No fair! Who beat me to it?"

I giggle at her reaction."Surprisingly Zager did. And it's also a present for you too, which is why it makes it the best."
She looks at me surprised. "Your brother actually remembered your birthday?"
I laugh."I know right. I was just as surprised as you are."
I take the VIP passes out of my purse, and hide them behind my back.
"Now it's your turn to close your eyes, and hold out your hand."

She makes the same sighing sound I did.
She closes her eyes, and holds out her hand. I put one of the VIP passes in her hand.
As she opens her eyes, her jaw hits the floor. "I swear if he got us fake tickets. I will kill him for you..."
I laugh"I swear, it's for real." I hand her the envelope showing her it's from Star 102.1.
Sue screams jumping up and down, and does her excitement dance."OMG! OMG! OMG!" She hugs me. "We're going to meet One Direction!"
We both scream in excitement.
She runs into the living room to find her Mom,who just got home from work.
"MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM!"
She scares her Mom, who was sitting on the couch."WHAT? What's wrong?"
Sue is jumping up and down, and shows her Mom the passes. "LOOK AT WHAT CAT GOT!!!"
Her Mom looks surprised, and studies the passes." Whoa! I thought these where sold out?"
"My brother won them." I show her Mom the envelope.
She smiles."Well I'm happy for you girls. You will have a lot of fun." She hands Sue the tickets back.
"Can you drive us there?" She asks her Mom
"Yeah, of course. You're brother may have to pick you up after though. You're Father and I have date night tomorrow."
Sue and I hug her Mom."Thank you!"
"Love you Mom!"Sue and I run back to her room.

   Sue and I re-planned everything. Are original plan was going to the movies, then going out to eat, and having cake back at her house. Now are plan is to celebrate my birthday for lunch at her house. We will order take out, eat cake, and then go straight to the concert to start waiting in line.
We were so excited, and celebrated by dancing and singing to One Direction's album Midnight Memories.
For our dinner we ate an entire box of Domino's cheese pizza,with my favorite toping M&M's. We watched a few horror movies that scared us, and then watched a few Disney movies to try and help get the scary movies out of our mind. Its now 12am, officially my birthday. Sue and I are still up watching Big Hero 6, while snacking on chips, and my favorite candies starburst, gummy bears, and Hershey Kisses. We're sitting in her beanbag chairs, against her bed.

   Her brother Ron walks in the room. "Happy Birthday Cat!"
I smile at him."Thanks Ron."
He sits next to me."Sooo. Should I give you 16 spankings, or can trade the spankings for 16 kisses..." 
Sue laughs."Gross."

I take a the bag of Hershey Kisses, and dump it over his head." There ya go."
Sue, and I laugh at her brother.

He chuckles."Well played."
He takes a hand full of the Hershey kisses, picking up the ones around him, and he stands back up. He takes one of the kisses out of the wrapper, tosses it in the air, and catches it with his mouth, eating.
"Well if you change your mind, you know where to find me." Ron winks at me.
I roll my eyes." In your dreams, Ronald duck."
He chuckles."See you in your sweet dreams, Kit Cat bar." Ron walks to his room, finally leaving us alone.

   Ron is very cute, and I use to have a big crush on him when I was 11. It crushed my heart when I saw him kissing a girl, and that's when I moved on. I guess now that I'm growing up, he's finally noticing me, and has a crush on me.
Ron is a senior in high school, and our school's famous football star. All the girls at school have a crush on him, he's very popular.
   As much as I wish for him to be my first boyfriend, it would feel wrong dating my best friends brother.
Sue's voice distracts my train of thoughts."Just to let you know, I do approve..."
Jesus. Is like she just read my mind.
I look at her confused." Approve what?"
She sighs."Don't play dumb with me Cat. I know you still have some feelings for him. He has a crush on you too. If you want him to be your first kiss, I don't care. Even if you don't date, it can always just be a friend kiss. I honestly would trust Ron being your first kiss, then some other guy who could break your heart." She explains, making it feel like she was answering my questions inside my head.
I smile."Thanks for you're approval, but I don't know about Ron anymore. I mean, we've known each other for so long, he's like my brother. I think it would be weird to kiss him."
She giggles. " Well if you guys did date. Who knows, maybe we could be future sister in laws."
She makes me giggle."True, but we're already sisters."
My comment makes her smile.
She holds up her ring, and I do the same.
"To infinity and beyond." We both say at the same time.
I lean my head on her shoulder, and she leans her head on top of my head.
I'm very thankful to have Sue, and her family always there for me. Don't know where I would be without them.
