||KB POV||

Two months before

Villains surrounded me, Kirishima yelling my name. I had to use my full power. Once it nearly made me go deaf, but I'm so crowded I can't even move. I felt my explosions get more intense by the second, then they burst. I lifted up my hands and the villains were dead in second, my ears weren't ringing and I couldn't hear Kirishima. I felt weak suddenly, my ears were bleeding and deep cuts crossed my skin. I fell to the ground, but someone held me up. Green hair and green eyes. I breathed what felt like last breath.

Present Day

I looked at Kirishima, my eyes in tears. It has been two months and he hasn't woken up. I set down some flowers and another diary entry from the month before.

'I'll see you later, Kiri,' I signed.

I walked into my favourite coffee shop and noticed someone was sitting in my seat. I'm going to kill her!

||SL POV||

Some boy walked towards me, he looked pissed. I held my mug of coffee while I took a sip.

'What are you doing in my seat?' He signed.

I knew he was deaf, by the looks of things he used sign language.

'It's my seat, I was here first. Get used to it,' I signed.

I'm not deaf, I know sign language because of my best friend. She went deaf from a car accident.

'Fine, I'll sit on the other side.'

I sat cross legged on the seat, sipping on my coffee.

'I'm Summer Langford by the way.'

'I don't give a fuck who you are.'

He rolled his eyes, I noticed he had bags under his eyes.

'Who are you? Also, you should get some sleep.'

'That's why I'm getting coffee, dumbass. You don't need to know my name.'

'How did you go deaf?' You signed.

'A villain attack at UA. I'm probably going to leave, it is for the best. The villains want me dead anyway.'

A lady handed the blonde boy his mug of coffee. He nodded slightly.

His red eyes darted around the room, and his spiky blonde hair stood up. He wore a baggy black hoodie and jeans, with a small camping bag on his back.

I looked up at him and smiled slightly, he just kept a straight face.

||KB POV||

Summer Langford, I think that was her name, had straight brown hair and grey eyes. She wore an indigo t-shirt and probably leggings.

How did she know sign language?

Where did she come from?

'Hey, dickward, my face is up here not down there!'

I was staring off into space I suppose I wasn't looking where I was looking. I looked up into her eyes and didn't smile at all. I sipped my coffee and held onto my phone.

I thought of Kirishima. My eyes started to tear up.

'You okay?'

'Yeah. I was just thinking about someone.'

I quickly left the café, looking at that girl I just met.

Maybe she's the one I've been looking for this whole time.

First chapter and I'm exhausted. 522 words for this one chapter. I've done longer but my fingers hurt I've been so sleepy so bye.
