chapter 19

She cuddles in my chest and falls asleep quickly. She looks so peacefull. I hold her tight and fall asleep to the soft sound of her breathing and the movement of her chest rising and falling with every breath.

I wake up to something I just don't know what. It's really quiet in the room almost too quiet. I look at Rikki sleeping in my arms she's laying so still. I keep looking and notice she's not moving not even her chest. I panick a little and check her breathing. None.

"No, no, no. Rikki please wake up!" I shake her trying to wake her. "Jerome! Jerome!" I yell he comes running in.

"What's wrong?"

"Call 911! She isn't breathing."  He takes out his phone. "Come on Rikki wake up. Please don't leave us. Rikki!" Medics run in the room and pull me away giving her an air mask. She's put on a strecher and they take her with them. Tears stream down my face. I see Jerome standing there with the same face.

"Let's go." He says with a shaky voice. We get up and run to the car speeding of to the hospital.

~ At the hospital ~

They got Rikki to breath again which I'm glad for. She's starting to wake up slowly. She opens her eyes.

"It happend again didn't it?" She says noticing she's in the hospital. We nod. "I'm so sorry." She says close to tears.

"Rikki it's not your fault."  The doctor walks inside.

"I have some bad news for you all." We sit down next to Rikki on her bed. "It's gotten worse. You propably don't even make it 'still the end of the month." We look at eachother shoked. "I'm sorry. You can choose to stay here for extra treatment or go home and just let it be."

"I'm going home." Rikki says.

"Then here are the release papers." Jerome takes them and signs it. We then leave the hospital as quick as possible.

"What now?" I ask.

"Let's go crazy, it can't end worse than it already is." Rikki says. So me and Jerome decide to throw a party at home to make sure she had the chance to talk to all of her friends atleast one last time.

Well I got the feeling people are starting to read this story less so I decided to end it soon I'm not sure of how long I'm still gonna make it. It could be more then 5 or just 2 more chapters we'll see.
