Hide and Go Seek
"I'm ready Daddy",
I heard the boy say
As him and his Father
Were outdoors to play.
"Here I come ready or not."
But this dad knew his son's hiding spot.
"Where could he be?"
He asked, looking behind a tree.
His son was hiding behind a plant,
To small for cover unless you're an ant.
But dad did his best to pretend not to see
what would be clearly visible to you and to me.
"Is he here?" he asked.
Giving a bush a jiggle.
Soon to be rewarded
By his son's giggle.
"Where ever can he be?"
Dad said with a grin.
"Here I am Daddy!"
he was right behind him.
