The first thing I felt as I regained my consciousness is hunger, then the distinct feeling of the sun burning my face. I flip the pillow over my head and go under, but I sit up in the bed when I feel my stomach grumble. I haven't slept much last night, not because I was busy working, but because my morals are killing me.

" Morning...you look like hell," I purse my lips in response and maneuver around him to the freshly squeezed orange juice.

" Morning stranger, why didn't you call I almost shot you last night..." He chuckles and kisses my cheek from behind.

" Why didn't you wake me up?" I took the plate of spaghetti he offered and sit beside him to eat.

" Thought you might need the sleep, you stayed up all night..." I stop mid chew and swallow the partially chew noodles.

" You know I don't sleep like the dead... AKA you," he continues and I refuse to look at him so I put more spaghetti in my mouth.

" Your right, I also got the day off too... He said it was urgent so I got to it." He nods

" That's asshole never calls you during the night that's why I'm so concerned." I finish my breakfast and go back in my room to answer my phone.

" Hello?"

" Morning... Are you ready?" What was I forgetting??

" Ugh... Ready for what Sir?" He sighs on the other line.

" I told you a few hours ago I'll you to arrange the menu for my charity event... You know what, be by The Riffle by 1:00 ." He hangs up and I hiss my teeth, I thought I'd sleep the rest of the day off.

" Fucking fuck..."  I strip in my room and jump into the shower, come out a few minutes later and throw on some clothes. I tell Matthew where I would be and leave out to catch a cab. Half an hour later I reach the restaurant fifteen minutes late, a gentleman took my things and led me upstairs to a private section of the restaurant.

" Afternoon sorry for being late." I take my seat across from him as he tapped away on his phone. He asked me to do some shady shit last night, off record and I did without hesitation.

" Thanks for coming, I expected you alot later." The sun shine on his golden hair wrapped in a bun on top of his head. I avert my gaze as he caught me staring at him over my menu.

God... This asshole is gorgeous... WHY?!

" Do you have an idea of what you'd like to try?" I put the menu down reluctantly and take my list out, I wanted to visit at least three different restaurants. He takes the list I offered him and whistle, a man comes up behind me and they exchanged a few words in another language of course. -_-

"I'll have their best sent here before this one closes so don't worry." I purse my lips and shift my gaze outside, the day was sunny and still not a whiff of breeze to counter the heat. The event is in a couple of weeks and I haven't started stressing out yet. I am painfully aware of Stoffinski glaring at me while I count the leaves on the tree outside.

" Can you take the pair of sunglasses off your head ... Please." I forgot it was there I take it off  and put it in my bag.

" About what I did... W-"

" Nothing will happen to you, i am just helping out an old friend. So trust me when I say nothing will happen, to, you." I look into his grey eyes searching for something that might not even be there.

" Okay... I'll trust you this once." He was about to say something but a waiter came with our first round of tasting. Few minutes past and we ate samples of dishes this specific restaurant provided.
