"God dammit Sophia i'm not home right now!" I scream into the phone at my best friend, who was trying to get me to open the apartment door that I wasn't anywhere near at the moment. She had somehow locked herself out and was unable to get back in. "I'll be home soon just try to figure it out." I say abruptly hanging up. I was sick of all the stress. I pull my car up to one of my favorites place to go when I needed to chill out. The coffee shop.

The door dinged quietly as I entered the small shop, my favorite mug in my hand and my homework in the other. I walk over to a small table in the corner and drop my stuff down on the table. I then proceed to walk up and order my drink. "Hello. May I please have a large iced coffee with caramel and almond milk please."

"Yes ma'am." The older woman behind the counter responded.

After a little while of waiting, my order was ready. I picked up my drink from the counter and turned to walk back to my seat. I looked down at my phone to make sure Sophia hadn't texted me with any news on her situation. I look to see nothing from her so I put my phone back in my pocket. As I look up to take another step I am met by a much larger body, making me stumble back. As I stumble, the coffee in my hand was able to escape. As it leaves my hand, another hand is quickly brought to catch it. I gain my balance and realize the person who caught it was the one I had bumped into. My eyes are brought to his face. Wow. Who is this beautiful man? The boy in front of me looked about my age. Pretty blue eyes, perfect jawline. I just couldn't look away. He was tall. Way taller then me. As I studied him I was interrupted by his voice,

"God. I'm so sorry. I should have been paying attention. Are you alright?" His eyes began to study me, making me a little nervous.

"No i'm the one who should be apologizing. I was looking at my phone. I should have been watching were I was stepping." I smile at him. He smiles back at me and hands me my coffee back.

"I'm Jonah," He sticks out his hand for me to shake. I put my hand into his.

"(Y/n)."

"Do you live around here?"

"Yeah actually I do. I have an apartment five minutes away from here. Do you?" I was really hoping he did because I didn't want this to be out last time talking.

"Sadly no. I'm actually here for music. I'm traveling all over right now. Although I definitely would. It's beautiful here, the people especially." Did he just flirt with me? The words he was speaking were doing nothing but make me fall harder for the boy.

I laugh in response. "When you say music do you mean singing?" I ask

"Yeah i'm in a band with four of my friends. We really enjoy it."

"That's so-" I was quickly interrupted by my phone going off. I checked it. Ugh, Sophia why did you have to call now. "I'm so sorry hold one one second. I answer the phone.

"Y/n, you need to come back now I need you."

"Ok fine i'll be there in ten." I hang up the phone looking back up at Jonah. "I'm so sorry but I really have to go."

"No worries at all. I totally understand." He responds. I send him a smile as I walk off to go get my stuff from the table. As I go to leave, Jonah is next to me again. His scent filling my nose once again.

"By any chance, could I have your number?" He asks. My smile becomes bigger after those words come out of his mouth. I nod as I reach into my binder grabbing a pen and a sticky note. I write my number down with a smiley face added on the side. I hand it to him. "Thank you, (Y/n)."

"Bye, Jonah." I walk through the coffee shop doors giving one last glance at the boy inside.

I would hopefully be seeing him again soon.
