"Jack Robert Avery!" I screamed at my annoying boyfriend who had just stuck his finger into the cake mix I had started baking.
"I'm the taste tester. That is for sure a ten out of ten." He says back, obviously trying to get me to forgive him by complimenting it. I turned back around to attend to the bowl while muttering,
"You are such a child."
"Maybe. But i'm your child," he speaks walking behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist. He begins leaving small kisses down my neck.
"Babe stop i'm trying to finish this cake." I giggle as he continues.
"You can do that later." He mumbles into my neck. His breath travels down my spine which makes me shiver.
"I already started it so i'm going to finish it. End of discussion." He stops what he's doing, placing his chin on the top of my head, arms still around my waist.
"You're so stubborn. You know that?" He asks me, moving his head around my body to look at my face. I don't respond. Busy on the cake. "Fine, y/n. Be that way. I'll be on the couch." His hands leave my body, obviously annoyed. I felt a sudden chill as he leaves, not having his body to keep me warm anymore. Before he is completely gone I am able to catch his hand, pulling him to turn back around.
"Wait, J." I use his nickname to gain his attention. He looks at me as I use my grip on his hand to pull him closer. "I'm sorry." I use my baby voice as I speak, knowing it makes him weak, and pulling him into a hug." I wait a few second, arms wrapped around him, until I finally feel his muscular arms pull me in harder. I smile.
"You're cute," he speaks into my hair, planting a kiss on my forehead. I look up at him.
"You're cuter." With that, he brings his head down to place his lips on mine.
This is shorttt. I'm sorry. Still thought it was kinda cute. Maybe? Idk.
Anywhoo This past week y'all have been absolutely amazing. So many people have been voting and i'm so beyond grateful for that. It truly motivates me and makes me happy to know you guys are enjoying reading my work.
