Even The Best May Fall

A Shocking Discovery

I'm being transported to what seems like an office, but in heavy shackles. I have no gag in my mouth, so I speak.
"So, wha-,"
I'm cut off by the bearded man with glasses.
     "Silence."
     Looks like I can't even ask a question. Great.

      We arrive to what seems to be an interrogation room. Also great.
      "We will not be interrogating you, but chaining you to the wall to make sure you can't pull any tricks."
      I then see a line of people arrive, all walking up to me in order. They tell me their names, but each gut punch me first, for 'heresy.'
     Something tells me, however, that 'Lesion' and 'IQ' aren't real names, but who am I to judge?

     After everyone leaves from a good session of gut-punching me, the bearded man tells me I am going on a mission in Augusta, Maine. I am to kill anyone on sight, not including 'teammates.'
      This leaves my gut feeling worse. I don't like to kill civilians' lives who had been purged by nano machines, much less those who haven't.
But, orders are orders, and I will be detonated if I don't.

        A few hours later, I am sent to Augusta with four other people. These are 'Thermite,' 'Glaz,' 'Twitch,' and 'Zofia.' (Bosak? More like ballsack lol) We enter the building, and strangely, no one is there. We find a note on a desk, not before I receive physical abuse from the 'operators,' saying, "Look behind you, you mints!"
     As soon as 'Zofia' finishes reading the note out loud, all four of my teammates are shot, mostly in the forearms and forelegs. I quickly hide try to hide behind a wall, while dragging 'Glaz' too, because he was the closest. Something happens when I touch him, however, and the gunfire ceases. Everyone looks at the crackling electricity pouring from my hand into 'Glaz's' back, and he speaks in a genuine tone-
