Sarah's POV

"Mom.." I whispered into the pitch black room. "What?" her tiny voice responded. "I have an idea." I whispered, I heard someone jump up acting like everything around them had just stopped. "What would that be honey?" She encouraged.
"I found a pencil sharpener blade on the ground.. When they come to open the door I will attack Luke you attack Mr. Chainer and we can get out."
I said. "That's perfect!" She basically screamed waking everyone else up. It felt like morning.

After we explained everything to Alyssa and dad, they agreed and we waited for someone to come down. A couple hours later the door opened. I lunged towards Luke and stabbed him making him fall limp on the ground. "I... I'll find y.. you Sarah." He stuttered before officially dying.
I grabbed the phone out of his pocket and dialed 911. "911 what's your emergency." The operator asked. I explained everything to her. "The police will be at your destination in a couple minutes thank you." And then she hung up.
Mr. Chainer walked slowly down the stairs I pushed Alyssa behind me to keep her safe. My dad buffed up and went to defend his family. "You will all die." Mr. Chainer chanted. "IT'S MY FAMILY!!" My father screamed. My dad tackled him to the ground and smashed the knife out of his hand.

After my dad and Mr. Chainer tussled around on the ground for a while a cop followed by many more cops came rushing down the stairs. "FREEZE!" The police officer said holding up their pistols. Mr. Chainer slide the knife towards the cops. My dad ran over to us. We all hugged each other crying because our family was complete for once in ages.

The police walked us out to the police station were I had to answer a few questions. But I knew I was free. I knew I was able to begin my life again because it was all over.
