Someone’s PoV

“She’s back!”  narinig kong sabi ng katabi ko.

“Prepare yourself because from this day onwards everything will change.” He doesn’t need to emphasize it because we already know. The prophecy is starting to come true.  The only thing that we need to know is whether she will accept the responsibility or not.

“Call  everyone we need to  discuss this.” He gave order to the messenger. Nagmamadali namang umalis ang pobre na di nalilito sa pinagsasabi ng amo.

“I’ll take my leave.” I bid my goodbye and get out of the room. Makikita ko na din siya ulit. After 17 years of waiting. Makikita ko na ang aking pinakamamahal.....

Casting Venue

“I would like to introduce to you a new member of our faculty, Miss Alicia Cliford.” Pinakilala ni tito si Tita as a what? Faculty member? Mag tuturo siya dito?

Nagpalakpakan ang lahat habang kaming tatlo ang nagtitigan lang na parang di makapaniwala.  Bakit di niya sinabi sa akin na magtuturo siya dito? Naguguluhan na talaga ako sa mga nangyayari simula ng tumapak ako sa school na to.

“Freshmen, please go to the right side of this room and form a line.”   Tito instructed us. At last the casting will start. Kinakabahan na ako. Kung anong dahilan di ko alam. Sana naman pareho kami ng classification nina BFF..

BTW. Namention ko na  may apat na classification ang students sa school namin:

The Gods.

They are vampires who have gifts of the four elements; wind, water, fire and earth.  They can control these elements and use it on their own advantage. They are well respected by the students and teachers.  Most of the students avoid them because they are scared. They can kill our own kind and others in an instant.

Everyone who belongs in this class is a vampire.

The Royals.

All members of the royal family of other kind; vampire, werewolf, ghost, fairy and etc. Belong to this class. It may be confirmed by their current status or not if your blood had a trace of royalty in it. You will belong to this class.

They are the wannabe of this school. They are the bully.

The Warriors.

As what the name itself state. It’s their duty to protect the citizens of Night and this is the only class that a student can choose. But majority of this group are Vampires and Werewolves.

They usually go by groups and don’t mingle with the other students.  They don’t get attached with the other class to avoid issues of loyalty and betrayal. It is the most difficult class  for they have to detached themselves from their family and friends for the motto of the institution. 

“We are Loyal to the Crown.”

The workers.

The other kinds compose the majority of this class. They will provide the work force of Night and they will keep the city grow in progress. They are the fuel of the city but they are considered the lowest in the hierarchy of ranks.

They are often bullied by the upper class.

Napadaldal ata ako. Di ko  napansin na malapit na akong tawagin. I looked around and I saw Aiden looking at me. I blushed.  Pano ba naman kasi, when I caught him, he winked and smiled at me. I ignored him para itago yung pag blush ko. Kinikilig ako pero ayoko pahalata.

“Psst! Bakit namumula ka?” Ella asked me while feeling my neck. Akala ata nito may lagnat ako. “Okay lang ako. Medyo naiinitan lang kaya namumula ako.” Pagdadahilan ko na lang. “Sabagay.” She agreed and continues on what she’s doing.

“Francheska Issabelle Attkins!” si Franz na. Pumunta naman siya sa gitna kung saan may isang crystal ball na nakalagay. It will change its color at malalaman mo kung saan ka nabibilang. Nilagay ni Franz yung kamay niya sa bola and it turned to color.... RED? She’s a royal? Pero bakit di niya sinabi sa amin ni Ella. I can see guilt in her eyes  when she look at us.

“How can she hide it from us BFF?” naiiyak na tanong sa akin ni Ella. I know that she’s hurt dahil close talaga sila. “i don’t know Ella but I guess we need to give her a chance to explain.”

Sunod namang tinawag si Ella. At pumunta siya sa gitna and put her hand on the ball. The color turned Blue. Her eyes widened in disbelief. She is a warrior but I know that she’s doubting herself. Napaka carefree niya and she seems fragile. But she possess a combative style na mahirap maanticipate. She’s a tactical genius at matagal ko ng alam yun. Kung papaano?  Di ko  alam. Basta sure ako na magiging magaling siyang mandirigma.

“Vianca Beatrice Mason” sa wakas tinawag na din yung name ko. Tagal kong naghiintay noh. Kahit kinakabahan pumunta ako sa gitna. Tiningnan ko si tita at tito, I can’t read their emotions. Blako lang din silang nakatingin sa akin.  Tiningnan ko si Aiden and he have an encouraging smile on her face, ganun din si Ella na nakangiti sa akin.  I slowly put my hand on top of the ball  and I feel time stopped when it turned......
