I was pulled by my arm and pushed against a wall, my arms pinned above my head.

"HEY LET GO OF ME!"

"Nope. I want you. I think you look good like this. Why don't we take this to the bedroom?"

"I don't think you remember but I'm a married woman. I have a child who's 4 years old and I am your boss. Let. Go. Of. Me."

"You're married? Prove it." He moved his face lower so he could make eye contact with me. His eyes were like as if they were trying to see into my soul for the truth.

I pushed him off and showed him my ring and he gasped.

"You're lucky this time. If we weren't in this building, married or not I would've put it in you."

"Haha too bad you can't though. I don't think you even have a dick. So get on with your work or I'll fire you."

With that I walked off towards my office.

The office:

As I reached near to the door, I saw someone with blonde hair knock on it. Thinking it was Adrien, I ran to the figure only to find out it was an employee named Brandon.

"Oh. Good morning Brandon. Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Uh yes actually. Mind if I come in?"

"Of course not. And grab some chocolates while you're at it. You're free to do whatever." I said with a smile. Brandon was a very nice person, who was 21. He got married two months earlier and he had blonde hair with brown eyes. He was quite tall and skinny but when I wore heels, I was almost the same height as him. I treated him like a younger brother as I had helped him with many of his relationship problems. Because of that, we got very close.

"I wanted to ask you if I could take paternity leave. Kayla is nearing the end of her pregnancy and I want to be there."

"I almost forgot Kayla was pregnant before you two got married. It's okay I'll get someone to cover for you. How long do you need?"

"However much you say really."

"When's the baby due?"

"In about two weeks."

"Fine. You can take a month off. Today will be your last shift and then you're home for a month. Oh and make sure you tell me when the baby's born, I really want to to see it!" They hadn't revealed the gender and I was so excited to know if it was a boy or a girl.

"Thank you. And don't worry I will." He chuckled and left the room.

I remembered the time when Adrien begged his employer for two months off, just two weeks before the baby was born. He got all excited when his employer agreed and he stayed with me every second of every day, until he had to go back to work but he made sure Alya or whoever was free took care of me and his child. When Latrelle was born, he cried. He literally cried. He couldn't even talk properly and he was so smiley. He kept telling me how he loved me and how much he loved his son. When the nurse handed our son to him, he started laughing and saying stuff like "who's a cutie?" "Your daddy's boy right?" "You're so cute". I wanted another child but I guess that didn't work out, seeing as Adrien and I aren't even living together.

I sighed. I had a lot of work to do. Better get on with it until Latrelle comes. (Italics are thoughts)

There were a lot of documents to sort out and I had to make a PowerPoint for when the kids for job experience came.

A few hours later, I finished everything and decided to put my feet up when my assistant, Aria, came in bringing Alya and Latrelle with her and then left with a smile.

"Mummmmyyyyy!!"

"Tedddyyyyy!!" I called back his nickname. "How was your day at school?"

"It was good. I want food."

"Haha okay."

"Heyyyy how's my favourite? Jeez you look tired."

"Hey Alya I'm good. I am tired. How's the baby by the way?"

"It's fine. I'm just really craving things that I don't think I should. I can't wait to give birth to this baby already so I can actually fit into some of my clothes." Alya joked. She was 7 months pregnant with a girl. She also had a son, Ceasar, who was the same age as Latrelle, but he didn't come because he was sick. We both started laughing and then she sat down on one of the sofas.

"Hmm why don't we get McDonald's?" I asked. Everyone agreed and we all went to get the food. We went back to the Dupain-Cheng building.

I got a call from Nathaniel once we were inside the office.

"Hey Nath. What's up?"

"Hey Mari. I just wanted to ask, will you go on a date with me tonight?"

"Oh. Um I'm sorry Nath but you know I'm married. And I have a child."

"Adrien doesn't even live with you. How can you be married to him when you don't even know where he is?! He could be dead for all we know. Can't you just give me a chance?"

"I'm sorry Nathaniel I really am. But I still love him. After all these years, I can't forget him. Call me crazy all you like but it's the truth. Whether he's alive or dead he's still the father of my child."

"Fine. But when he doesn't come back and you need someone to help you support your child, you might not even find me here; it'll be too late. Bye."

With that he hung up. I put my head in my hands and sighed deeply.

"He's right Mari. You need someone to help raise your child. I won't be here all the time and even then, I'm still not a father. You need a man in your life. Adrien could be married with kids right now. You don't know. So I suggest that you stop waiting for him and just move on. It's better for you and Latrelle."

"I know Alya. But I don't want to give up just yet. He can't get married without a divorce and without both of our signatures we can't even get a divorce. I just wish he comes back." I started to cry.

"I know Mari. It's okay. I'm sorry. I just want to help you guys. But if you don't want to move on then I understand. But at least consider it?"

"Fine. I'll consider it." She hugged me and I hugged her back.

"Okay I need to stop crying now. I'm gunna go fix up a bit. The students are coming for that job experience."

"Haha good luck. Want me to take Teddy home?"

"Yes please. Bye Teddy. Bye Alya."

"Bye mummy."

"Bye Mari."
