2 weeks had passed since I came to this barren green hell of boredom, there was no cell reception so my phone was basically a brick of uselessness and the only place in town with a stable internet connection was the library but when I went in there I was glared at until I left back into the town.
My journey took me to this wooden cabin that looked abandoned, there was bullet holes in the windows and the front wall but somehow it still filled me with a sense of adventure even though it looks like Jason's hut, as I pushed on the door and a cloud of dust erupted causing a thick fog that hid the room from my vision. But then a smell, it was faint but it was unmistakable. Blood, that lingering metallic smell that makes my stomach turn to lead and that fills every person with pure fear like a knife of panic.
I ran back to the town and enters the library clutching my ribs as I breathe heavily and walked to the old newspapers and begin to skim through till I find it an article from 20 years ago.
"Years ago when I was about 30 I was living in a small town in the middle of the woods, one evening after leaving the bar I was walking on the sidewalk and I took a wrong turn which took me into the woods where I came across a small wooden cabin.
I heard some noise from inside even though there was no lights on inside the windows it sounded like growling but no dog tracks were leading to the cabin so I walked away back into the town and back home.A week later I was watching the football in the bar when 3 cop cars screamed past the bar and down the road to the woods and I was concerned that I had stumbled onto something unusual.
So the next day at work a cop came in and I asked him about last night, his face became pale and a look of panic spread across his face as he explained that they found the remains of 10 bodys that had been ripped apart and consumed by somebody because the cabin was locked.
Later that night on my way back to my home I glanced towards the ally and saw a figure crouched down, I looked straight up. It was a full moon as I ran toward my house, I heard a howl that rattled my very soul as it echoed through the town.
I ran into my building and locked the door and ontop of the building opposite I saw a human shadow with the muzzle of a wolf.I write this as a story and posting in the local paper as a warning to all the future people of the town of the creatures that lurk and hunt us from the woods"
After reading this I was filled with dread and fear bringing back the memory of the two glowing red orbs that haunt me everytime I close my eyes. What is this place hiding? what is left to discover?
